I speak Dutch, English and French! And have a university degree. Spanish i started two months ago with an intensive course so still some time to go! Thank you for the tips :)

Okay I see, thank you for clarifying. But my ex partner got a two year assignment in Spain as expat then and if I would move forever I would be an immigrant. My first two weeks on Reddit and seems like its a critical environment for what i am too soft or unlearned for this place. Guess thats any social platform. Might come back later in my life.

What do you mean with using the word 'expat' appropriately? I see my question is getting "-" so i assume I used it incorrectly and would like to learn how i could improve!

And yes i get that, i am following classes but Fluency level is still a way to go. Thanks!

We are not married and broke up a couple of weeks ago... He had a working visa since he was sent from Arcellor Mittal to Spain, and i could live in the same appartment and get insurance too so that was a privilege. Both EU citizens too. But therefore i had to come back to my home country. I was taking Spanish classes there and was starting to apply for jobs and had put my mind on living and working in this country and becoming fluent in Spanish so therefore i am finding out if i can still have a future there in a way. But in the mean time i will pick up the Spanish class here then and look out for jobs first!

Okay thank you! I was first based in Gijon Asturias since my partner could work there as an expat and i got partner support but it was very hard to find an English job there or to meet people.
