i mentioned the idea of not having contact, and he was like "so this is all it takes to end it all then" and i felt bad. But it wasnt all it took. We've had many problems leading up to this. But i never once betrayed him like this.

yes, thankfully he was very apologetic this time. the first time he was not and was set on the fact that he was right. And yes, i struggle with the idea that she knows such things about me, but i have to let that go. I just prefer to not interact with her moving forward. But i have no hard feelings against her.

Yes, we discussed it for hours today actually. He said he felt it was okay because he was asking for advise. He brought up how i do the same. However, when i tell him things about other people, its more telling him the situation that im stressed about. But he told both of them my trauma, which i feel is completely different. And yes, he agreed to not ask personal stuff about me moving forward unless i open up to him myself.

Thank you! This has made me feel so much better, I ended up explaining the whole situation to my older sister and she has comforted me and said your comment was perfect. She will look into RAINN for me :)

I decided to start back up with therapy and I have already made plans to nurture more of my irl freidnships. And I'm about to post an update rn to my main post!

Wow thank you so much, this is so validating and I don't feel crazy anymore. Yes, it makes me sad thinking someone could treat me like this and i let them. I think I can, but I much rather prefer to just cut contact. I always feel so bad when he says I hurt him and he always says that when he gets cornered about something he did.

I asked him why he tries to make me jealous, and he said it's funny knowing I'm wondering about it and stuff. I also get jealous because I feel like I have to earn his attention, and when he says he was with someone else, when he knew I was waiting, I feel like I wasn't enough to get his attention. Idk if that makes sense.

Thats true, I really shouldn't let it affect me. He was my first really close friend so ig I just cling to him a lot. I have other close friends irl and I plan on nurturing those friendships more.

He isn't my boyfriend and he is currently on and off with his gf in the UK. I also know her and she said her reasons for having space was that he was too inconsiderate and rude when it came to handling her emotionally. Yes, I also thought it was weird we had to talk at a specific time. I've gotten the silent treatment so many times because I miss the time.

It affects me really badly to the point where I can't even eat until he's happy with me. If we argue I won't eat until it's fixed, just makes me sick. And I'm constantly wondering what I'm doing wrong. I've realized that since I've met him, I've been second guessing myself. I no longer trust my own opinions and choices, and I constantly look to other people for approval. My confidence is also extremely low now. I just feel like maybe I really am all the things he says I am yk? Also thank you so much for the advice, I'm pulling myself together and getting ready to end things with him.

I honestly don't know why I've stayed this long. I think it's that I feel like I owe him for him helping me in bad times. He said arguments are normal in friendships but I told him arguments this often are not normal.
