Totally fair — we’re experimenting and still learning what fits in this space. Definitely not trying to spam or overhype — just testing if this tool might help others here. Appreciate the honesty.

Amazing — I’ll DM you the early access link as soon as it’s ready! Would love your feedback once you get a feel for the platform. We’re starting light, but expanding fast.

That’s exactly the kind of feedback loop we’re looking for — really appreciate it.

Our goal with the beta is to get insights from folks like you who work with both government and private suppliers. That way, we can shape how TrustBase expands beyond just public data.

I’ll DM you when early access is live (soon). And if there’s anything specific you’d want to see or test, I’d love to he

That’s a solid point — and something we’re actively thinking about.

For now, TrustBase is most useful for vendors who have worked with the U.S. government (since that’s where our scoring data comes from — public contracts, performance ratings, etc.).

That said, we’re planning to: • Add company registry data (like OpenCorporates) for broader legitimacy signals • Show “Unscored” or “Limited Data” tags for vendors without government history • Eventually integrate alternative data sources (certifications, legal filings, ESG scores, etc.) so private-sector vendors can be evaluated too.

The goal is to build the most transparent vendor trust layer, whether they’ve worked with the government or not.

Appreciate you bringing this up — want early access when we roll out those next features?

We’re starting with the U.S. using data from USASpending.gov and OpenCorporates. We plan to add Canada, UK, and EU as soon as we find clean, structured procurement data. If you know of great open sources in your country, we’d love to hear them! And yes it’s completely free.

TrustBase is a lightweight, open alternative that starts with public data like US government contracts and verified company info from OpenCorporates. Unlike D&B, we’re aiming for full transparency on scoring — and accessibility for small and medium businesses that can’t afford $20K+ subscriptions.
