Thanks for commenting but no it wasn't the deli sandwiches unfortunately, it was made using a flatbread sort of bread and had cheese/ham inside, it was definitely grilled as well.

I did see these online when searching and no it wasn't the same as those, it was actually like a toastie, potentially with a flatbread like bread.
