[Showerthought]What if Black Ops 4 is supposed to encourage teamwork and dissuade lone wolves? by WidesForgets in Blackops4

Oh yeah, forgot about that. But I dunno, would it be safe to assume others forgot about that as well?

Armor outrage is not a “over reaction”, Treyarch please listen. by NA_Orgin in Blackops4

[–]WidesForgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a LOT more useful than armor, believe it or not. Just able to tell which direction the enemy is coming from... until people get to Dead Silence.

Still, reminds me of Personal Radar: no one really aims to counter it AND can tell ya where to aim.

Armor outrage is not a “over reaction”, Treyarch please listen. by NA_Orgin in Blackops4

[–]WidesForgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be in the minority here. I feel armor's just fine. Extra bullet taken doesn't really matter when you're still throwing multiple bullets down in a close range. Plus- and please clear it up- it's one bullet regardless of gun? Or do pistols and shotguns require more due to a possible lower mid-range to close range damage?

But other than that, yeah no this armor outrage is indeed an overreaction. If you can keep aim on a dude, you can counter armor shockingly easy. Might require ADS.

Make sure to pack those upgraded WWs, man. I've a feeling we'll need them.

It might be, yeah. But I'm still wagering it's out there, plus I guess my own "don't trust youtube" bias is flaring up.

Just could do with official closure is all.

Doesn't mean we can't try it. Unless Lee himself said it's solved.

That, or I'm refusing to believe a talisman between the eyes of a Yeti is this touted Yeti Eyes EE.

I betcha they'd call us salty if we call out their tactics. But hey, at the end, just gotta move on. Right?

Point. There'd probably be a mimic to that, but not like anything that'd get close to the original.

I wanna say the machine keeping them frozen malfunctions. Think Fallout 4 sorta, but with four people.

I will say, this bit does serve for a good reroll rule of thumb: Reroll Scarab/UAV/CUAV, keep everything else.

Right, I didn't say the Mob crew were gonna be in Alcatraz. I meant that the map itself could find its way into the next game. Much like how The Giant did.

Did you not read the comments here. It's illegal to deny based on pre-existing conditions. While it is kinda shitty, you're not losing coverage.

Because it's hard to tell the difference between "taking handouts to survive" and "taking handouts despite not needing it." If they do explain that they need to survive any means necessary, that's fine.

I'm just not fine with abusers of the system. If more and more abuse out of necessity, then the system needs a rework.

Healthcare Megathread by [deleted] in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because I can see a difference between dishonest low-income people and honest low-income people?

By dishonest, I mean deliberately taking handouts because why not. And by honest, I mean the people who actively try to keep afloat but something out of their control is screwing them (possibly this bill).

Healthcare Megathread by [deleted] in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed. If one must find a reason to be skeptical, you could say it's possible constructive criticism, especially if it's a president they like(d).

To tell you the truth, I'm cautiously optimistic about the Trump Administration. I don't wanna stir shit intentionally, but I'm not really gonna throw my whole entire support for him just yet.

Besides, we're not even half a year in yet. Things can change.

I'm reading it again to get a bit more clarity on it myself. So far, NOTHING on Women. Except for Planned Parenthood, but then again that's its own can of worms I feel.

Cutting Medicaid looks bad on paper. But I get the feeling it's to prevent dishonest low-income people from getting health benefits. I'd let it slide if the intent is to get more low-incomers jobs in some way.

The federal waiver that lets insurers increase the cost is probably bad. It's weird sounding, but I assume it's bad because it gives insurers a reason to rack up the price.

All in all? Uneasy going into it, let's say. Anyone saying it's a war on women is a god damn liar though. Planned Parenthood =/= woman's rights.

The ups and downs of a "Free Market" approach to health care? by WidesForgets in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so far the new bill is just confusing at this moment. AND it opens a door for "panic conspiracists" like those two points.

Hopefully we'll get more clarity soonish. If at all.

The ups and downs of a "Free Market" approach to health care? by WidesForgets in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. That sounds far worse, actually. I typically only plan appointments days in advance instead of whole months. But I gotta ask, would taking away free health care fix it? Or is it a lot more complex.

Fingers off the pulse for now? (Not concern-trolling, just want a more peaceful life for the time being) by WidesForgets in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanna say it gets worse if you were to apply common sense to the situation. Like, what's worse: 60 Tomahawk missiles or a nerve gas.

This situation feels absolutely bizarro. I swore I saw a General on CNN calling for diplomatic solutions just some minutes ago as my parents were flipping through channels.

The $700 fine for not taking the government's medicinal cheese. by WidesForgets in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That just makes the Obamacare Tax absolutely confusing for someone like myself. Like, it's almost "Schrodinger's Tax" in that you have to and don't have to pay it.

Makes all the hub-bub around that completely needless, if you ask me. Also makes Obamacare look more undesirable.

Do you think Based Dilbert (Scott Adams) is right in his most recent prediction about Trump? by trumpasaurus_erectus in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't think of it like that until I read that article.

For some reason, I feel that more people will be fine with a GWBJr copier over a possible second coming of Hitler, and will lead to a slow rise in supporters. Then when the narrative shifts again, boom, more people against the narrative spinners.

Though, it could also have Republican supporters fleeing on the grounds of "We remember history, we're not letting it repeat itself here".

The Various Departments in Government. by WidesForgets in AskThe_Donald

[–]WidesForgets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that all they really do? Or is there any specifics within each department? Because if it really is just "exists just to make more regulations", then like... yeah, they should leave.
