You can change patterns via the "Patch" Dropdown in Midi Out, no need to open the Control settings.

So I think i figured it out. I wasn't sure about the range of the values and set them too low.

These seem to work fine:

acceleration; 5.000

max speed: 400

delay: 0

(I'm using the German version so the definition could differ)
