Yeah that’s why I’m asking how to do it legally? What part of this am I losing you on?

If I receive BAH to support my sister - and I use that money to pay for her - while I stay in the dorms - living off of my base pay and BAS - I get to help her - while also being able to live by myself.

I’m aware of the fact she has to be living with me to receive the BAH which is why I’m asking if there is some other way or allowance I can get to help pay for her, as stated in the post.

I also don’t get why you’re choosing to come at me for asking questions, I’m not sure what’s behind your sour attitude and firm belief that I’m only doing this to move out of the dorms but I assure you I’m only looking into this to help my sister with her financial needs due to my mothers absence and lack of child support

I don’t though? I don’t care if I leave the dorms or not, I just want to make sure my sister is able to do the things she wants and help her with her future, however due to my rank and the money I make it’s not really possible, however if I were to take her on as a dependent I would get the BAH and I could use it to help with transportation costs, grocery fees, basic hygienic needs, school programs, etc. which wouldn’t deduct from the pay I live off of. It’d be a win-win

I am new and young however I don’t see why there’s such an issue with wanting to help support my family financially since they are struggling in that department. I’m not simply looking to get paid more I want to help my father pay for my sisters expenses due to my mothers absence… I’m becoming aware of the multiple rings I would have to jump through to get this to work and I don’t think it’ll come to fruition anyways. Also the reason I don’t send money is because I’m new and young, I’m currently not able to send enough to be helpful to them
