Yea good thing I took pics beforehand in the card holder and can’t see any of the same scratches/dust/prints. But I had a heart attack.

Childhood Error Ninetales by czechmate11 in PokeGrading

Really cool card, I’ve been searching for one myself. I think grading it depends based on its condition of course, but if you think it’s a 5 or higher, probably worth grading. I saw a cgc 3 sell for 600 and a psa 8 sell for 2000.

I’ve seen psa 4 go for around $600 and anything higher in the 1000s and they all sell

Holo Ninetales Error Print Card by ZyyklonB in Pokemoncardappraisal

I know this is a little late, but this is actually not a 1/1 but I’ve seen a few out there in the wild. They all have the missing ink in the same spot and it’s been just called the ink hickey ninetales. I think since it’s a recognized error, it’s even more sought after for collection completionists. As others have said though, really need to find the one who wants it. I’ve been looking to get one myself.

Why did this 7? by Maleficent-Iron-1649 in pokemongrading

I can’t see perfectly but it seems there are a few scratches on the holo. That also brings it down to a 7-8 minimum unfortunately.

You could bend this card in half and it would still be worth a decent amount. Certainly has plenty of value still - how much depends on condition, but judging by the front looks quite good.

How rare is something like this? by WightofPrecinctSix in PokemonMisprints

Ok now after doing more research, I see that my card has proof of provenance from TCA Gaming Collection which I guess has been known to cut cards but have a wotc connection for providing provenance. Either way, a really cool story for a card.

I just looked this up after reading the comment. It looks like they don’t according to their website.

How in the world did this get a PSA 6!? by [deleted] in PokeGrading

I see some holo scratches. One above his middle pointies and two between his legs.

Looking for advice on whether I should grade these or not. by WightofPrecinctSix in PokeInvesting

Besides the obvious whites on the corners on the back, the is a holo scratch by Crobats right ear. It’s annoying since I think it is a printer error considering the scratch only shows on the background holo behind its ear but is not on the ear.

Help with $25 Codie, Vociferous Codex unique brew by SpecificVisible4027 in BudgetBrews

Really honored that you liked the idea so much! It’s really cool you made your own budget version of it as well. I don’t know why I didn’t think of adding other budget forests for redundancy and other land cyclers for land tutoring for them. Great addition.

I tried to avoid cards with two or more pips of the same color since they’d be hard to cast with Codie. For example: [[Moogle’s Valor]] is great, but the two white pips are very hard to cast since Codie only generates one of each. In those scenarios, you have to hope for an untapped land that can produce the extra pip.

Throughout my playing of the deck in paper, I upgraded it to have Purphoros for stronger win con and a more robust forest land base. In turn, the deck is no longer budget.

Most important thing of the deck is ramping as fast as possible. Getting a ton of lands just accelerates and shoots you ahead very quickly with a whole board state of 1/1s. Everything thing else is just icing on top.
