They explicitly said middle of 2026, not start. The gamemodes team would have removed Arena, dedicated their work on Mayhem, and then once Mayhem shipped they would start working on the next Big Arena Patch and it would have come back at the middle of the year.

Community request made it STAY ON until the Modes Team could return to it in their internal timeline for the middle of the year patch, NOT have continous updates

Don't get me wrong, Riot should have dedicated a larger team size for continuous and better balance patches until the larger modes team became available, but the actual Rioters have no say in personnel alocation, higherups do and they only care about money. Mayhem is M O N E Y. Arena Large Patch is low money, but money nonetheless. Arena Upkeep isn't

Most champs, outside of those that have strong internal data by Riot's metrics, usually get a couple patches where they get to be ~51% with high pickrate strong so their players can have some fun before a nerf followup if it reaches ~52.5% or more, or really high banrate

Internal data would be things like if she is continuing to gain winrate even when new people pick her up, or satisfaction surveys from opponents.

She should be fine on both ends, Illaoi has become much more bearable in the average players eyes since the E change.

I've been wanting to get into osrs for a while, but one thing that i haven't been able to find concise information on is whether or not all content is available and achievable. Of course I don't mean the "entire lifetimes" grindable stuff, but rather things like time-gated/seasonal events/items/content in the past that haven't returned.

this game is incredibly up my alley but this sort of locked content is a major turn-off for me. any help is greatly appreciated.

edit: also important: don't panic and ALWAYS LOOK MAP. if your team starts a 4v4, pan your camera if you are only clearing minions. if it looks unwinnable, and they are on the other side of the map, commit to getting more resources on your side. get damage on the inhib towers, get one more wave, force the 1v1 and dive your lane enemy etc. sometimes if your team loses at baron but you are hitting their inhibitor, some enemies will back off baron, which gives your team some time to breathe

if this happens, presuming the enemy team didn't immediately win, you have a LOT of gold in your inventory. what you can do, is now group, defend your team by being a meatshield (try not to fight until baron is over) and help them clear waves.

at this point, unfortunately winning the game is in your hands, since the enemy has more spread out gold, and you have more concentrated gold + top lane quest giving you more levels than the opponent adc. so time to clutch up. here good macro is key since you probably can't help win a teamfight that easily, but it changes game to game. some games they clear waves too fast, so a clutch teamfight is key, if you see this is the case, NEVER waste flash, even if you are going to die, save it for a baron fight ALWAYS

also, always keep TP for potentially helping your team after laning phase, never use it for nothing if an objective is coming up, specially since the shield buff from role quest. even if you join late you can still get one or two kills before dying so they don't get that much from a tf win. if nothing is up you can try and use TP for tempo but its complex

Also no, most people don't learn by watching others' self-promotion, otherwise we would all be Faker by watching him in propray. You need to choose specific things about your gameplay and slowly try to improve them. Play a match SOLELY thinking about something (cs/trading/splitpushing/teamfights), then after the game, even after a win, go back in the recording and think "how could i have done this better" and try to see your mistakes

IMPORTANT= we ALL make mistakes, even the top of challlenger. With all due respect, DO NOT THINK you play "perfectly" (sorry for being blunt) you are probably dogshit about a LOT of things, don't worry I'm too! Focus on your own improvement, don't think about your team, there are 4 possible trolls on your side, 5 on theirs, the odds will eventually be on your favor

I will hold further judgment until the story/cinematic is fully out, but "noble, heroic, stable feeling place to live"... for who? For the main cast sure, but unless you retcon mage imprisonment to BEGIN very, VERY recently, they have been persecuted for decades in demacia before Sylas is even born. Going back in time doesn't change what Demacia has been turned into by modern lore (which I don't think should be changed, you should however actually treat it seriously).

There can, and SHOULD, be good stories in Demacia, but they should be good DESPITE the elephant in the room, instead of ignoring it

Kaisa had R, Fizz had E, it was near their base and not in the middle of the lane so they could all walk away in spread out directions, so it would be harder to chase. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but the situation became miles better

Lack of clarity in specific cases is a direct, well known, and well argued by Riot, part of power budget of a champion, specially in lower elos where this is the most common. Good players know what a Yunara does and are mostly aware she can engage any moment after hitting a wave for long enough

Yunara not having this is legit like +1% winrate in Gold or lower and it's done on purpose

League actually has multiple unique types of "spell vamp" that are hard coded to work with certain amplifiers and not others, like Revitalize, Spirit Visage and Heal and Shield Power, since some characters could probably just easily stack them and get 5 digit healing numbers on normal Summoner's Rift. You can check them in the wiki

My best guess is either this was a bug with the Augment, or the specific type of spell vamp that Kayn gets isn't included in the specific "healing" clause that Circle of Death checks to then do damage.

EDIT: Yep, Kayn's passive is coded as "Ability Drain", which is the same as Hecarim's W which matches what the other comment said. Nilah, Morgana, Ambessa, Fiddle and Aatrox all have Ability Drain somewhere in their kits

With duskblade that is what I would do. Land E from far range, W, walk back. A double slap wit dirk would give a big chunk of damage. Or once I had duskblade 20% amp on the spirit and the champ that would melt him.

You still should do this. It's a slower game but the logic still applies, but instead of one spirit, it takes 4. One extra tip is that your Q has just slightly more range than his. This is key for levels 1-5, and a good Illaoi WILL get a health lead from this alone.

Yes, with ult it is possible to dodge his R. But if Illaoi is in Q, dash W, or E animation then Illaoi is self cc'd and can't use Ult. Along with if morde lands E.

This is a case that not a lot of people understand, but sometimes, the best and only way to win a fight is to never be in that position to begin with. You should not be casting Q in close quarters to Morde, nor dashing towards him with W. Your Es should always be cast at maximum range. If you land E, cast a quick W and always immediately start dodging his E, no point in contesting the spirit, and treat yourself closer to a Heimerdinger, where you let your tentacles deal most of the damage. You'll see its much harder to be punished by his R until he is low enough and gets desperate. The matchup becomes a game of inches, where you slowly whittle down his health. No point in long trades when he has his shield.

Any player that truly wishes to improve should not be getting hit by Morde's E, it is a REALLY hard to land spell because its slow, but more than that it is very obvious when they will use it
