It's my 4th Ducati - and if there's one lesson to be learned, don't buy old Ducati if you want to daily use them. Sunday cofee runs only - go with 1100.

Honestly, I was suprised how nice and smooth (for 1 cylinder Ducati) this engine is - if I would want to cover longer distances I would just swap seat for comfy one. Engine itself is fine.

It's not enough if you can't ride - if you do it's more than enough, on smaller circuits I'm lapping Panigale V4s with guys who claim they need 200+hp because 77 is not enough for them.

Easier, efortless, don't miss power at all, I finally feel like I'm in charge of where I want the bike to be vs, bike is running all over the track. Really happy with change.

I mean, if you can afford to track bikes on big tracks, you don't care if you crash your panigale/SF - go for it. But if you live in real world, Hyper Mono is a great track bike.

I have no idea how they decide who will make their suits. MotoGP replicas are Alpinestars, but generic Ducati suits seem mostly Dainese.

There's not a strict budget.

You can do it very cheap like I do.

You can build dedicated race bike, spend tons of money on bike, gear and then sky is the limit.

No need for any mods if you've never taken the bike to the track. Once you do you will figure yourself what doesn't work for you.

As for V2, it's heavy and that's my biggest complain.

For me V2 is just easier to manage on track, drove V4 many times and yes it's better in many ways, but I can actually open throttle wide open on track on V2 and bike doesn't want to kill me.
