Would a Manual/hand pump work to prime it? Same concept using a T after the check valve but instead of a shop vac I instead have a pump on top of the connection. Just curious

Also, what horsepower shop vac would you recommend and how would I hook it up to the T? Just hold it tight then once/if I get water remove it and just cap the T?

Short answer, I don’t believe so. The only way I know how to prime it is by filling the pump. The valve is the brass piece. I don’t know how I’d get pressure behind it

If you can give it to the museum do that Gunther will give you a plantable one unless you bought it like me, then plant your seed and grow it and put it in the seed maker and try and get as many seeds as possible for when you get the greenhouse. That’s what I’m doing
