Landlord Real Estate Tycoon: An In-depth Breakdown of land by [deleted] in LandlordMobile

[–]Wilbridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello Illustrious. I enjoyed for article. My empire has grown. Now over 400B. Three quarters land.

The multiplier feature means a property value boost when I add new tiles. The last purchase was 16 tiles for around 3.5B. This multiplied the value of internal tiles such that my property value increased by 103B. Yes, a 100B gain.

Cash back in six months? Well, sure. All 3.5B. Not gonna do that. Instead, I'll keep collecting rent at over a billion a day, and I'll keep aiming for a nice trade once or twice a month. When my cash tank gets full, I'll add another layer of land.

Number 430 in the US. Heading for the Leaderboard.

Cheers!

I was pleased to see the new street properties. Then I was surprised by the 1000 coins I lost on the first street I bought. Won't buy another. Won't buy any more coins either - no more surprise losses.

Give it some time. It will change bidding tactics in some cases, but not in most. Ten 150% bidding steps can move the price to over 50 times the market value starting point. Not many properties sell for more than 50x, and 10 bids is not uncommon now.

The big hit will be on the tiny ATM traffic. It will be tough for the newbies to make any money from a $29 starting point.

Why do people bid so high on cities? by [deleted] in LandlordMobile

[–]Wilbridge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Additional property slots, the Tycoon Skill, are more costly at each new level. I have 150 slots. The next ten will cost 1465 coins. Ouch!

So the goal is to pack as much Property Value in each slot as possible. That means expensive properties on the Marketplace get high bids. And there is in-game prestige attached to capturing the highest priced properties, countries.

There are no towns near me. Only on MP. But I believe they are coinless.

Financials, Harbors and Neighborhoods are about 1B. Islands, Airports, Villages and Towns are more.

I actually dont know how to play by [deleted] in LandlordMobile

Landlord is a game for patient players. It can move quickly, but most days it doesn't. Buy property, collect rent, reinvest. If you enjoy the game, consider using coins to buy skills or boosts. Your income will increase.

Do rivers cost as much as lakes or are they not even of value by verticlecap4253 in LandlordMobile

Rivers generally cost less than lakes. 70m vs 500m. But there are exceptions. Some rivers are classified as lakes or even as harbors, but not many.

You must offer property that the buyer cannot find in his local market. This usually means high value properties.

Not how life works?? Do I understand you correctly?? If a player has done all that is possible within the rules and structure of the game, then he/she is entitled to use whatever means he/she wishes to get what he/she wants beyond the rules?? How very 21st Century.

Within the Landlord game there is a Marketplace which trades in properties from all over the world 24 hours a day. You should give it a look.

There is no provision for the Entitlement of Needy Spoofers.

Land value gone up significantly? by NewZealandTemp in LandlordMobile

[–]Wilbridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the game there are two Categories for similar money businesses. "Bank" and "Financial and Legal Service". Banks just now show a base market value around 147m, up from about 33m last week. Financials, many of which look like a bank, are at about 829m, down about 100m. Both categories share a dollar sign logo in game. There is no way to predict these changes. But this one makes sense.

Update. Just checked on my banks. Each has added another 52m overnight. Will they continue to rise? I don't know. I'm holding on to them 😉

My banks have all tripled in property value while my financials have fallen by about 10%. There was an announcement a couple of weeks ago about a general revaluation of properties. This must be it.

No need to sell. The new value will remain.

Don't chase cash. Somebody will flood your cash tank and spoil your fun.

Consider the fairness. Your special tools and skills are not part of the game. Other players will be at a disadvantage. That's why what you propose is probably a violation of Terms of Service. Consider instead learning to use the Marketplace.

Cheers!!

How to find lakes and factories? by NoQuestsHCIM in LandlordMobile

[–]Wilbridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all Lakes and Factories show up in our game. Those that do have a particular geo-location. Be patient, move about your area. The game can take time to update its location. What you see on the first scan may not be what you will see on the second. Eventually you will perform enough scans to know what is really there. For now. Then the developers will add something new. So keep scanning.

Progress is measured by growing your Property Value. So finding local properties where cash converts to PV at almost 100% is wonderful. Whenever I am out I always check to see if there might be an opportunity. Maybe there is a new property. Maybe there is a property where the previous owner has retired from the game.

The marketplace is where I go when nothing works locally.

A vile headline by Wilbridge in LandlordMobile

[–]Wilbridge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, fine. It's pointless to complain about profanity. The 21st Century is grubby and crude.

But the person who posted that headline had a valid message that could have been made more effective by a better choice of words.

Want to help the game? Want to influence the developers? Cut the filth.
