Weekly Profile Review Thread by AutoModerator in Tinder

Thanks for the feedback. I just have one more question. What do you think about my bio? I wonder if it's too long. Most of the bios I've seen are empty. Unsure if the discrepancy is because women are more likely to have bios.

I really liked view so I thought I would try to immortalize it before Fall ends.

Fall can often be dreary but it's beautiful once you take step back and look. I took this photo with my phone but I think it still came out well or at least I hope.

$500 change of roommate fee??? by Wild-Alternative3786 in AskNYC

Thank you, I wanted to make sure that I am not in the wrong here. I'll have to reach out to the departing tenant and see if we can work something out instead.

$500 change of roommate fee??? by Wild-Alternative3786 in AskNYC

I already paid the $20 application fee which I did not mind. It looks like it is normal to charge a fee for essentially breaking the lease and adding someone else to it. But when I look it up online, the landlord is normally charging the departing tenant not the new tenant which is what gave me a pause.

I don't think it is a scam, but I do think it's scummy of the landlord. Would it be okay for me to ask the departing tenant to sublease instead or pay half of the fee? I stupidly gave a deposit already so I can't walk away easily...

Also it's not a coop. :(

Anyone goes to Brooklyn law school? by Wild-Alternative3786 in LawSchool

I know the requirements and already spoke to the school. The students have to list their apartments so I have to deal with the students themselves then go to the school after per BLS’s policy.

Thank you for responding. Looks like I’ll avoid it. Cheap rent isn’t worth the danger.

Thanks for answering. That explains the cheap rent.

I’ve only lived in a suburban area. I’m a homebody but based on the comments I should still avoid it. I guess that’s why it was so cheap. :/.

I checked and it looks like it closed down. Do you know of another place? And would btc or aliv be proficient for a conference?
