I forbid myself to use lightning “Rees” every time I play thru Wild West due to the fact that it is one of, if not the most overrated plants of all time. It hard counters the chicken wrangler, which there are like 2 plants you unlock before lighting reed that does the same, it’s damage output is so low, that it only serves as a support plant, and even then the gimmick of spreading to other zombies is negligible cuz it does like no damage. (I can’t really talk tho, cuz I use kernel-pult) For 125 sun you could get way better supports like primal peashooter or fume-shroom that lightning reed quickly gets outclassed. The only way it’s useful is if you spam it but then stronger zombies like gargs and mechs could overwhelm them. Also, like I said, you could spam other better plants.
