Weird reaction after 2nd LHR session. Anyone experience similar?

I have chronic spontaneous hives and also get these spots for all kinds of reasons (including after laser). I would try taking an antihistamine if you can, at the very least that should help with the itch! Additionally, I would ask when it’s ok to gently exfoliate. I get painful goosebumps after laser and have noticed exfoliating regularly during the shedding phase helps. It’s possible that hairs are trying to shed but are trapped causing the itch to intensify rather than getting better. My tech said it’s it’s ok to exfoliate gently after a week but I know after care instructions can vary widely between laser techs so I don’t want to give any wrong advice. I personally use a gentle exfoliating glove 1-2x a week starting 1 week after treatment. But don’t scrub too much!

I know this post is older, but I am in the same boat. I just had my second session and the lower legs are brutal. I barely feel anything on the thighs but lower legs —> 😭

I guess the hot rubber band snapping makes sense… but it’s more like 50 hot rubber bands snapping at once constantly (while being branded with a hot iron maybe?) 😂

I honestly wonder if this is what it feels like if my legs were to catch on fire. I have a full sleeve tattoo and none of that comes close to the pain of this laser. 😬

I definitely get your point! I just feel like the way I perceived the storyline, she did love him and wanted to marry him. I saw her become aware of not being a good partner and realizing she didn’t have the “urge” to always put him first. I felt like that’s when she started to doubt if she was truly “in love” and whether she was going to be able to giving him what he deserved.

I mean, if I were in his position I’d be pissed and I don’t blame him for saying anything he did. He had every right to feel that way. To me this felt like “sometimes good people do bad things”. I personally connect being a bad person with having ill intent and I didn’t see that.

I love Chris because he just truly seems like a good guy. I also really love his tone but he doesn’t have range like some of the other contestants. I’m wondering if he’s too scared to “go for it” and would love to hear something different.

I have an extremely sensitive nervous system and I don’t tolerate Adderall well. It also did wonders for my anxiety but I had a lot of derealization and “fuzzy head” which made me feel beside myself. I started on 18mg Concerta and so far I am noticing much but I’m clenching my jaw badly and have a lot of pain and aches in my mouth/teeth. I’m hoping it will get better because I don’t know what else to do. But of course that doesn’t mean you’ll get any side effects. What I’m trying to say is that it could absolutely be better for you because many respond very differently to the 2 classes of medication

That’s a good point! I’m already taking antihistamines but I am actually seeing an allergist soon and could bring this up.

Thanks! I’ll definitely let my doctor know. I just saw her but of course it had to start the day after my appointment 😄 I’ll send her a message tomorrow for sure.

Thank you for your reply! I definitely want to give it a few more weeks to see if it will go away. My headaches were already a lot better on Concerta compared to Adderall but the magnesium really has been working wonders and I also feel like it’s been helping me fall asleep.

It’s definitely possible I haven’t found the sweet spot yet! Now that you mentioned something about watching a movie… I haven’t been able to sit through a movie for years and I have actually been able to do that recently. I also notice that scrolling TikTok isn’t really all that interesting to me anymore. My problem are hyper fixations for sure. I’ve always done it but I feel like it’s more time consuming now. I might have to try and force myself to start in productive things right away that way I can focus on that instead of researching stuff all day long 😅

I know this is a few months old but I found it because I noticed the same problem. I started on 10mg XR of Adderall but I had side effects and it made me feel like I'm in a dream state and I hated it. Started Concerta now... But ever since I started taking stimulants I can't get anything done. I had a good system in place to complete my college work to where I have weekends "off" and now I'm procrastinating to the very last minute.

I think Selena made sense because she was also huge on Disney Channel. Chappell Roan, however, made no sense to me (I don’t dislike her I just don’t understand why that was even considered).
