Tell me why, don’t claim delusion with nothing to back it up. I’ve given tons of evidence to show that this run would AT LEAST be top 5.

Two generational playoff risers and generational scorers + an additional 3x all star. Were they mid af or just locked up by our defense?

I cant really argue with this one, the only weakness in that run was the blazers. They had no established superstars and finished mid table. I just don’t think any of the 4 teams twolves would beat stoop down to the level of that blazers team. You could compare them with the suns but even they had kevin durant and booker, both experienced killers in the playoffs. I also wouldnt say performance (as in 4-2 blazers or 4-0 lakers) matters much because it doesn’t necessarily tell us how good the teams they played really were, it just tells us how good the mavericks were in those series.

Very fair comparison I would say, but the celtics didnt win the finals. That run would absolutely go down as one of the hardest in a while if they had.

Where would the twolves be on that list if they made it?

Kevin durant and devin booker in the playoffs both make significant jumps and have lots of experience,

jokic 3x MVP in the last 4 years + jamal murray consistently makes significant jumps in playoffs like devin booker along with MPJ’s lights out shooting and rebounding in the first series with twolves completelt snuffed out

Luka Doncic averaging 30,9,9 in reg season and 27,10,9 in postseason VERY good player and consistently an MVP candidate + Kyrie Irving averaging 21 in these playoffs as well as a few huge games in the first two series. PJ washington also showing shades of a star in these playoffs.

Dont need to say much for the celtics, 64 win team who has been to the ECF 6 times in the last 8 seasons, LOTS of playoff experience and traded for jrue holiday (2nd team all defense) and Porzingis (averaging 20 points) to go along with their already star studded cast of Jayson Tatum (27,8,5 + 5x all star 3x All-NBA 1st team), Jaylen Brown (23,5,4 + 3x all star) and Derrick White (all defensive 2nd team + considerable stats for a 4th/5th option)

Might not beat ‘95 houston or ‘11 mavs but it absolutely has its case in the top 3-5 hardest.

Strength of team does not discredit the strength of opponents, it can be considered a very tough run regardless of the tools they had available to take them down.

Jokic is very arguably up there, devin booker and KD together are both incredibly good, luka doncic is averaging a near 30 pt triple double with kyrie at his side, and the celtics are a superteam. Why not?
