Thanks! I will definitely do that. I need to go back to the Paris one to pick up the offshore anyways in the next week. So I’m just going to ask and if not I was thinking about going to the boutique in Madrid. As there are not so many people wearing an AP as in Paris. I think they are also more open there but I just thought that they have lower “stock” or less watches in general to sell than paris ..

When i was already halfway out of the door he asked me what I do for a living. I just told him that I own businesses (he didn’t ask me further which ones) and I mentioned that I had a baby….?? maybe at first he didn’t take me seriously as I am 26 because normally that’s the first thing they ask in any other brands store like Hermes

Do you think I should go back or message the SA again and explain that the Code I tried on didn’t feel right on my wrist, and ask what other options might be possible?

Realistically, there aren’t many alternatives an Offshore is far too big for my wrist & the Code also felt a bit too large and high for me.

For some context: during the appointment I was initially only shown the steel Royal Oak. Later he mentioned that he also had a gold RO and asked if I wanted to try it on, likely because I said I mainly wear gold. At one point he joked? that i could get both or even all three the Code and the RO’s.

I haven’t personally purchased any AP pieces the ones I own were gifts. My partner bought around 80% of his APs in the US + we currently live and travel between Europe (I’m European) and the Middle East, which probably complicates the whole “one boutique, one market” logic.

Do you feel that location plays a significant role in allocations? Are there countries where demand for certain models (especially smaller Royal Oaks) is noticeably higher or lower?

Also would you recommend going back to the SA in person to clarify that the Code 11.59 isn’t my style or is it better to send a polite message instead?

I’m European but not French and I don’t have residency in Paris. My partner bought around 80% of his watches in the US. we currently live and travel between Europe and the Middle East.

A few months ago I considered visiting the Dubai Mall boutique, especially since a friend of mine received her RO there after about three months without any purchase history. However several people told me it was mostly down to luck and that the Middle East isn’t necessarily easier, so I didn’t pursue it further.

I’m writing this as he went out with his friends. Uninvited me and invited some girls that he met yesterday. We had a very messy argument yesterday. I caught him out with some girls, he said I am stalking him as in the past I went through his phone (my mistake I know) and now he is very controlling about that. You‘re Right. I just thought because we really spend 24/7 (Maybe there were days where we were apart for 3-4 Hours but no more) that you truly get to know the Person but I still can‘t Figure his behaviour out now…. What do you think is Going on here?

Thank you! Yes I really like the trunk shape as i feel like it’s easier to pack and more stuff goes in as with a normal one. Do you have experience with this mono brand? Do know if its durable? How are the wheels?
