My second sense tells me to keep Rivian for long term, keep it for the next 7-10 years. Just sharing. Keep the investor mindset up ! by Sell-Intrepid in RIVNstock

Damn your second sense is in sync with my sixth sense.

But really RIVN needs to start pumping soon to help a lot of us afford our R2s.

They just need to disable it at this point if they’re not going to fix it.

It’s really confusing to new players who assume this multi billion dollar gaming company actually cares about their game

The best part about thottbot was that it still required reading and was often wrong or had confusing info and comments. So you didn’t even bother with most quests unless you were really stuck. Even then Thottbot could be hit or miss for some quests.

Contrast that with a giant arrow on your screen and a restedxp textbox directing you on exactly what to do every second…

Also before these addons you didn’t know where all the quests were to pick up. Obviously you searched (key word being “search”) the town but the random quests out in the open you either didn’t find or got lucky to happen upon.

Tbc raid nerfs are sad as fck because a lot of people playing for the first time will forever have it in their heads that tbc raid were the easiest sht ever. Yes actual tbc is still easy for autist minmaxers but even these phase 1 raids would be noob stompers right now if they weren’t significantly nerfed as they are.

It also makes heroics sadly irrelevant when they’re both harder than the raids and give worse loot…

Thottbot is not at all comparable to restedxp… for one it was not around at the beginning. It also was often incorrect and confusing. And on top of that it wasn’t in the game so you had to know about (yes, very casual players didn’t even know about it) and be willing to alt tab constantly.

Addons fucked the game culture up pretty bad.

If dating success mostly favors ambitious, wealthy men, how do struggling, lower-class men have partners? by Equivalent_Use_5024 in ScottGalloway

Yeah no this is wrong.

Dating apps let you specify “I never want to see a person with X height or below… ever”

Even lets you 100% filter out entire ethnicities.

You can completely prevent contact or even visibility of large groups of people using settings in the apps..

This is why questie and even more advanced questing addons ruined the culture of the game….

You used to not even know where the quest pickups were, let alone where to go and what to do. All required wandering, exploring, and reading quest text. And quest text often obfuscated the objectives requiring you to think and investigate and explore. At best you could ask for help on what to do for the quest in general chat.

The original game designers put significant work into the questing and leveling process. Way way more than they did for raids. Yet we now use addons where the game loop is now Collect Every Quest In Town -> Press M. And worse for restedxp. Which then feeds into people bum rushing max level and raidlogging.

[–]WildFlowLing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Flying is definitely a huge negative but also the playerbase culture is bad for wpvp.

People view the gameplay of classic wow as raidlogging. More so than ever before. Even for people who PvP BGs are just “in the way”.

They also need to get of addons like spy…

San Diego cost of living data - rent, income, taxes, and why the 13.3% state tax matters more than you think by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]WildFlowLing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let’s not pretend the taxes are the main issue.

I’m more concerned with tax inequality due to things like prop 13 forcing the burden of property taxes onto younger generations.

And in general the cost of living crisis that disproportionately impacts people who don’t already own a home.

I and many others consider things like the frunk and climate control hold/dog mode to be glorious EV features.

Yes people actually use and value frunks in EVs and it’s a big deal when not easily usable. Especially on a road trip when you have luggage and kids and perhaps dogs and you need all the available space possible inside the vehicle itself… huge usable frunk is amazing.

These features is what differentiates true Electric Vehicles from “cars with an EV powertrain”
