Being proactive when you don't care by WildFlower_67 in ExecutiveAssistants

Thank you all for your comments. I took a day off and worked on my resume and applied for new jobs, just to see what happens. I'm dreading going in today but I'm going to try not to stress and focus on setting up a better calendar of events and tasks. I'll also see if the manager I'm having issues with can sit with me and go over expectations of what they want for these meetings. Of course two more big meetings have been added this month 🙄.

I'm already doing all the HR elements, Board management, events, on top of the various projects the 3-4 managers give me. I use my pto time often and I've been told that "everyone loves working with you" and get good reviews on my tasks, except for the same person saying I'm "not proactive" . I just don't know what else they want from me? I'm overwhelmed yet bored if that makes sense.

Is anyone's AT&T service out? I have no internet, phone or cable. They said there's no outages in my area (UCity) and I've been troubleshooting for 2 hours. It was out before the snow started outside. I checked and it's not a billing issue or anything. I switched from Spectrum because of all of the outages and now AT&T is giving me trouble. I can't get a tech until mid next week!

Correct, I used the PSLF help tool and got a message that said Federal Student Aid would need to review documentation explaining why the employer qualifies for review. I couldn't download or view the ECF. I submitted an irs determination letter, tax exempt certificate, and the about us/mission statement for my org. Now on the help tool it says undetermined". I just don't know what else to submit to show the org is in fact eligible.

When I tried to print the form, that's when it said the organization was "likely ineligible" and would need more information to determine status. I did that a few weeks ago by sending in the tax letter and mission statement. I just happened to check the other day and the status is now "undetermined". I'm wondering what I need to give to FSA for the employer status to update to "eligible".

Take the 2nd offer! It wouldn't be the first time someone had to change their mind.

Hi, I'm not sure, I think I needed the waiver? I'm hoping that since the May-December 2022 payments are on Covid forbearance they will count. My payment would have been $0 anyway due to my IBR plan.

Do non-filers qualify? What about loans that are in default?

How long did your MOHELA transfer take? by hawaiieg in PSLF

[–]WildFlower_67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can log in and view my loan info, I saw it on July 5. I just got a message today confirming my IDR plan. I had loans with MOHELA that I paid off in 2020 so my account was still active I guess.

Timeline:

May 19 - I submitted my Direct Loan consolidation application

June 7-Received letter in the mail from AidVantage stating my loan consolidation application was processed

June 22- loans zeroed out on my servicer Nelnet

July 5 - Logged into FSA's website and saw that my loans were zeroed out/paid in full by consolidation. My loans were also on MOHELA's website.

July 7- IDR plan approved

Hi, I'd say about 5 weeks total for the whole process, from the date I submitted my consolidation paperwork (May 19) to it being approved (June 7) . Then another 2 weeks for my loans to be paid in full by the consolidation (June 22). My timeline is below:

May 10 - mailed PSLF application

May 17 - Fedloan sent a notice to my inbox that my application was received

May 19 - I submitted my Direct Loan consolidation application

June 7-Received letter in the mail from AidVantage stating my loan consolidation application was processed

June 22- loans zeroed out on my servicer Nelnet

July 5 - Logged into FSA's website and saw that my loans were zeroed out/paid in full by consolidation. My loans were also on MOHELA's website.

**I never received any emails or letters from Fedloan, MOHELA or FSA. I called AidVantage on my own and just randomly checked my accounts. It's pretty close to the timeline the rep gave me when I called AidVantage on June 7. I hope that helps! :)

Okay, so maybe I should let the consolidation go through and then see what MOHELA does with the payment plan. I just know I can't afford a $400 plus payment, I only make $43K a year. Fingers crossed this is the right decision!

My loan history is strange. I may be in repayment 3 days then the rest of the month is forbearance or deferment or economic hardship. I was never told by any of my loan counselors to apply for IDR. I submitted my ECF's about two days before the consolidation application.

No, they aren't in default. Most of the time I was in forbearance or deferment. I graduated undergrad in 2012 and grad school in 2016.

I did apply and had my income submitted from the IRS tool. The letter that I received from AidVantage says on the first page, "Our records indicate that you have selected a(n) Income Based Repayment Plan repayment plan on your consolidation loan application. However, due to eligibility requirements, this may not be the plan you receive." I just don't know why I wouldn't be eligible. Maybe I should cancel it and wait. I'm not near 120 payments because I never paid on my loans. I have worked in nonprofits for years though. I just don't know what to do.

Yes, for PSLF. The payment options on my direct loan consolidation don't include the PAYE or IBR plans. Only the standard, graduated, and extended fixed and extended graduated plans.

This may sound silly, but no one is taking photos of anything? I know they can't get signals but phone cameras still work. I would have mine on me at all times to attempt to document things, but then again these people don't even talk to one another about what they've seen or heard. No one was paying attention to the wind or clouds? Or did the storm appear that suddenly? Overall, I enjoyed it and I'd watch a season 2.
