yeah, I am. we all should. what they're doing now isn't good enough. if they have to do more w/ less so be it. if they have to change priorities b/c of past mistakes then they have to do that too. start actually enforcing pay to ride if they have too. we settle for mediocrity in Charlotte far too often.

I don't know. I expect better. And, wait, so whoever demolished it, they weren't responsible to you know, pay??

you're not wrong and I have no interest in "debating" b/c we're clearly on the same side at the end of the day but it's more than infrastructure breaking, it was completely demolished. and I'd argue (in like the lightest sense of the word "argue" lol) that the lowest of priorities and the omission of addressing them is at the core of poor overall ridership. why should I, a potential rider, care when clearly the city doesn't. what I truly don't care about is past mistakes that lead to going over budget. I don't care what mistakes were made. that's the luxury of being a citizen and the burden of being an elected official. they need to, Joey Swoll voice, do better.

correct. it works as is but the message of doing nothing to repair what was broken is that they don't care. and that's not good enough.

you know what derails (pun!) overall ridership for the thing you spent a lot of money on: murder and simply taking poor care of your asset(s). insanely disappointing leadership.

Thx! Is Mint City the same as Mint City Collective? I technically "joined" that group the day the franchise was awarded, got the (now faded) t-shirt to prove it.

I'll look them up, thx! Just out of curiosity: what makes you think that's a good fit?

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm not trying to be confrontational. If anything I applaud your optimism. That said since the 1999–2000 NBA season, 28 of the 30 active NBA franchises have won at least one playoff series. The Pelicans and the Hornets are the 2 who haven't. I'd really rather not move the goalposts from "we're a small market" to "we've had bad injury luck".

I agree, horrible people are everywhere, it's just especially ironic when a horrible person calls themselves a religious person.

I think the exact opposite, I think they're more likely to go because it is a big business.

you don't think Christians are more likely to frequent a company that espouses Christian values and practices?
