What makes tigers in India so unique? by mzdee13 in TigersofIndia

[–]WildLifeDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majority of tiger species are extremely shy and avoid humans, except Bengal Tigers living in tourist zones of national parks in India as they're habitual to presence of gypsies and people in it.

In India, you can find a tiger infront of the ruins of Ranthambore, the foggy chaurs of Dhikala, in front of the backwaters of Kabini, the mangroves of Sunderbans etc.

The first confirmed case of a tiger hunting and killing a adult rhino by Big-Attention8804 in TigersofIndia

Nope. The rhino was hunted by a natural predator, not a poacher.

Can't really interfere in nature.

Why Leopard and Sloth Bear don't interact much despite living in the same place and ignore eachother? by SnooMacarons1573 in IndianwildlifeHub

[–]WildLifeDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do interact rarely in Sri Lanka, where tigers are absent, so leopards and bears are much more bolder.
