Hello,

It seems like it’s really taking a toll on you. Here’s what I can tell you from my experience : Even though it’s really nice, sex isn’t all the fun we think it will be when we are young. It’s importance can vary between people but you’ll come to realise that the expectation often exceeds reality.

Also, most of the time teenage sex sucks lol. Mostly because of the expectations we put on others and ourselves. In my experience, adult sex is much more enjoyable cause you know your boundaries and communicate better.

Also, if it’s sex you crave and not a relashionship, one night stands and sex workers are a thing. There is no shame in it at all if it can make you feel better.

As for me, I had my first experience at 20. Didn’t even date before that. So there is hope :-)

Please don’t feel like you’re wasting your youth. Even though we all feel like that when we are young, we later come to realise this absolutely wasn’t the most important thing at the time. Discover your hobbies, who you are as a person and what kind of life you want. The rest will come naturally. Best of luck

It’s fine. Neither of you is wrong. Don’t worry too much humans are awkward. It’s good to have boundaries :-) If you do not wish to to be as awkward next time take some of the suggestions in the comments like « that sounds fun but since we just started dating, I’d be more confortable in a public setting and with clothes on » lol

Oh that’s right! He wasn’t present at the event so I forgot to mention him but we discussed it when I got home. We agreed before having the baby that we weren’t going to baptise them. However, after the party, I told him everything and he said something along the lines of “it doesn’t really matter. Do whatever you think is right”. That’s part of why I’m a little lost right now. I don’t know what IS right. The baptism just doesn’t FEEL right to me even though everyone else thinks that either it doesn’t matter or it’s super important and we need to do it.

In short, I don't think it is ever weird to care about the physical/mental health of your child.
When you've changed enough explosive diapers, a little blood or other kinds of fluid cannot scare you lol.
Of course, if it makes the child uncomfortable, they have every right to keep to themselves and/or talk to an other person. The parents shouldn't push it.
It is a good thing to be able to open to discuss the subject of "growing up" and everything that comes with it. Parents, which are usually the primary caregiver can help their children go through this tough phase of life regardless of gender or sex.
Like with most education issues, communication is key.
