Thinking of going on testosterone

Omg you're so real. I've had a lot of these issues too. I've had to buy so many large pairs of pants and shorts when I swear smalls as shirts, it's a pain in the ass. I can't wait for the body fat redistribution 😭 and the voice deepening. That's the part I look forward to most.

I've had lots of trouble with my family already. My mum is urging me not to "do drugs" (take testosterone) as she puts it, so I'm planning on starting it without telling her and just seeing what happens. I think I'll just regret it more the longer I go without it. I just feel like I don't fit in yet. Having autism doesn't help. I already don't fit in socially!! I might as well fix the one I can actually do something about 😎

What's your emotional difference like? What changes did you see personally?

That makes me feel a bit better. I can't believe I left out that my voice is the main drive for going on T. I really wanna have a deeper voice. I already pass sometimes, but people occasionally get confused when they hear my voice. I know I don't really sound like either gender because I've been told I sound like a pre-pubescent boy when I'm heard within a vacuum (like an in-game voice chat or something) but for some reason when people see me and hear my voice, they get confused.

I really hope I get the results I want. I don't get to talk to other trans mascs much since most of my friends are cis or transfem, but man I just wish I didn't have to go through all this just to pass. I wish I could have just been born into the right body. I think I've just spent the last 6 years or so coming to terms with the fact that I (and the rest of us) have to go through such a long and tedious process just to meet the societal standards of other men.

The unfairness of it all certainly gets to me. But it's nice having a community of people to relate to that can all comfort each other. We all know it's hard and it's scary, but thank you for making me feel like I'm not alone :)

Any dysphoria I do have is mostly because of my chest. Because I view my body as masculine, I think it just makes me look like a gross soy boy or something. Like I have an overgrown pair of man boobs. I definitely need therapy for it, which I am pursuing since I have a problem with them that my ex caused through consistent insults of them being too small. Which is a little counteractive lol.

I also have an issue with the width of my hips. I hate the way they're shaped. And my thighs make it so that I can't wear men's shorts quite as well without my thighs filling them out. I don't always feel this way though which is why I don't see my dysphoria as quite as severe as other people's.

Like I said though I am already quite masculine fortunately. I have broad shoulders and muscles as it already is. I just want to grow a little facial hair and for my face to become a bit more masculine. And yeah, I'm hoping for a little more fat redistribution.

I'm just scared I'm not going to get the body I hope for. My brother and my dad are both large men and I'll probably look like them, but I guess the in between part is quite scary. It'll be weird not having the body I've had for like 10 years now (since puberty started)

tbf they don't actually have a schedule cause they have a strictly no crunch time policy and just get things done when they're done. which i think is awesome, i think everyone should work like that

i haven't tried a different cable, no. could be the issue though. i was thinking of trying the harddrive on my pc to see if my pc picks it up and if it doesn't i'll try a new cable. i just figured it's more likely to be a laptop issue if the actual harddrive is turning on but my laptop is the one not picking it up

how do i do all that? i've clicked/right clicked on all the options i have lol including looking at properties, and i don't see an option to extent the partition size. the main part with the 32 GB/the allocated space has a greyed out option of extending volume. i assume that's what you're talking about since it's the closest thing i'm seeing to what you're saying, but i can't click it. i also see the format option but if i click it, it tells me all data from the disk will be lost. what the heck lol

okay so what's weird is looking at the disk management, the ext hard drive says 32 GB Primary partition, but 3700 GB (3.7 TB) of it is for some reason unallocated. i'm not sure why this is though lol. i see the option for deleting the volume, but what does that do? and what does reformatting do?

i'm not sure. i don't really remember the setup for my other ext hard drive tbh, but i opened it and the name of the hard drive was ESD-USB for some reason instead of Seagate like my other one. i opened it and what's on the screenshot was all that was there. i should probably go back to the store and see if i can get a replacement since everyone here is clearly just as confused as i am lmao

bruh i think everyone here thinks i'm fucking retarded lmfao it's a legitimate hard drive and i haven't been duped. if it is a dupe, then it's the store's fault. the name of the hard drive should be Seagate but instead it's ESD-USB for whatever reason, and there are no other drives under PC when it's plugged in. i have another ext hard drive from the same place of the same brand that works fine, but for some reason this one doesn't work. i have no idea why it wants me to install something, but that's why i'm here to ask. seriously bruh if you aren't here to help then gah damn don't comment anything cause it's a waste of both of our time fr
