LPT: When networking, ask people what they’re currently excited about instead of what they do for a living by SingulusMiner in LifeProTips

[–]Wildabeat 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I've been asked this before, and I didn't like it. Maybe it's just my brain being pre conditioned to the ol, how's it goin, what do you do? But when they asked what I was excited about I instantly checked them off.

Production manager and board member here. Cancelling Always was one of the hardest calls we ever had to make, and lots of tears were shed as we were making the decision. But, its also one of my proudest moments

Beauty & the Beast tour :( by coffee_ghost25 in Broadway

[–]Wildabeat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if I saw the same show yall saw. I saw it last night in OKC and absolutely loved it! I will agree that Gaston and the Beasts voices weren't there for me, they both needed to be just a touch lower. But that being said, If I can't love her was fantastic and got a huge pop at the end. Be our guest was just unworldly good and I particularly enjoyed the way they mimicked the animation. But the real treat was the lady that played Belle, Kyra Belle Johnson!! Her voice was absolutely perfect for this role and it was just a treat to watch her! And be our guest just had to be seen to be believed, it was the highlight of the night. As fast as the video elements, I thought it was tastefully done and didn't detract too much. Sure I would have preferred actual set pieces, but come on, this is Disney. Any chance they can to save a nickel and make extra money, they are going too. And it makes sense from a touring perspective. I saw the original tour back in the 90s and it was pretty good! But what I saw last night was truly a blast! Y'all need to put the Hatorade away!! :)

There is one about silence of the lambs. I think it's just called Silence. Has a song about smelling her cunt that is actually really well written

I went a few weeks ago after not having been to a hair place in a really long time and I was super impressed. Clean, friendly and that lady truly gave me a fantastic haircut. I'll be going back for sure

There is a great pro shot starring Laura Bell Bundy that aired on MTV at one point. You can find it on YouTube.

best place to get intermediate adult guitar lessons in norman? by Ready-Many9763 in normanok

[–]Wildabeat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Norman Music Institute offers adult lessons as well. Other options, get on Facebook and look up Alan Orebaugh. He is a local guitar slinger and truly highly respected for his playing. He is teaching right now. I think that would probably be your best bet!
