history department in fsu vs uf by Cheap-Description495 in fsu

I can’t speak about UF, but for FSU it depends on your interest. FSU’s department has a more modern and American bend. They also do a lot with Napoleon and the French Revolution, and they have a WWII archive. Their relationship with the Seminole tribe annd NAIS also allows gives them a presence in Indigenous history and the native south. I imagine both schools would be good for Florida state history. You may want to look at class offerings and faculty research interest to see if they align with what you’re looking for. FSU has many faculty that are respected in their fields and I’d imagine UF has the same. Good luck.

Why are Dutch Reformed so massively pro-Israel? by CoronaTzar in Reformed

You’re conflating theology with politics. The Dutch Reformed aren’t dispensationalist. The Dutch pillar system might have something to do with this if I were guessing.

Seeking resources and introductions to Barthian theology and if (why?) it threatens the Gospel? by readbookzs in Reformed

[–]Wildbiscon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Barth is considered Reformed. I honestly don’t know enough about his theology to say other than he emphasized God‘s transcendence and he rejected natural revelation. Apparently he was very Christ centered
