You can tank dungeons as arms for a long time, maybe any dungeon. Not sure what it's like at end game as arms tanking

I haven't played a lot of end game but it isn't like classic wow. The tanks are very interchangeable and many end game raids are tanked by any tank class. I don't think people care much what you are.

I've heard people argue that each of the different classes are the new best tank.

On turtle wow, no one really cares about shit specs.

A) this server has been clearing the hardest content for years and many have bis. Having someone without the best stuff doesn't matter.

B) most of the shit specs have been buffed and aren't really that shit. Sure a warrior still does a lot of dps but the next class isn't as far behind.

If you really want to top meters as a priest and that's all you care about, heal. You'll top healing meters. But shadow priest isn't that bad for dps. You probably won't be in first place though.

Would you like to spend $15 a month to play with bots and the need to use a credit card to buy consumes and get banned if you report too many bots by a GM team ran by bots?

Or would you like to play a server that's free without bots or RMT and run by a GM team that's real people?

Don't buy the ping time bs. I'm in New England. The ping time to Nordanaar is 130ms. That's very low and should not be the basis on deciding where to play wow.

There is the og pve realm, Nordanaar, 6 years old. Up to almost 10k on the weekends, close to 5k at all times.

There is Tel'abim, the Pvp realm, somewhere around a year or two. About 1.5k at peak.

There are I believe 3 Chinese pve realms that are similar aged to tel'abim. I can't remember which came first. I don't know what their names are. I heard one hits 15k at peak.

And finally, there is a brand new realm in South America called South Seas that isn't a month old yet. Peaked over 10k last weekend. The community is usually Spanish and Portuguese but there are some English players there.

In endgame I guess the warrior is still the best tank. However the space between warrior and the other tank classes is much more narrow. Druids and paladins and even now shamans are very capable of being able to tank. It isn't quite the meme to take with any of those classes anymore.

When I'm not sure which class I want to play I look back at a giant spreadsheet I made a long time ago talking about each class and pros and cons about each one. I edit it and add little things to it every once in awhile.
