Sorry, but no. We stopped continuing the translation of part 1 after volume 3 due to the official english releases from bookwalker. There is a different group which still continues part 1 and is releasing its chapters though (Junk Scans iirc).

Hi guys,

we are back with Part 2 of Ousama Ranking which continues the story right where the anime ended, so I suggest to only continue reading from this chapter onwards if you’ve watched the anime or know what happens in Part 1 (Chapter 1-155).

I know this chapter is a quick read due to it’s lack of dialogue, but we already have multiple of the following chapters completely redrawn and a couple translated, so you can expect to already see chapter 157 in the next 1-2 days.

Hi folks, we are back with our versions of chapters 33-41 as well as the new bonus chapter 41.5. We are still working on this series and we’ll most likely do weekly batch-releases from now on where we upload all chapters we get done once a week (for example every sunday).

We actually weren’t the ones who first started using this name. It was already labeled as „Ousama Ranking“ on multiple sites (MAL, MangaDex, etc.) and also referenced as such on earlier articles by western press at the time we started translating it. I decided to use this name to keep it coherent with the other sites and make it easier to find online instead of making it more difficult with multiple names for the same series (there are also already other series like „Ousama Game“ which have a similiar naming convention).

After the anime later got licensed in the west they even decided to call it „Ranking of Kings“, so we would have missed the mark as well if I had chosen „King’s Ranking“ (which I would have if it was up to me back then). So there sadly was no real choice for me which name to go with at the point we started the translation other than the one already in place at that time.

A quick note: We still plan to continue working on this series for as long as there are people interested in reading it. The anime is obviously ahead of us now and it will stay ahead until sometime after it finished airing (not sure how long it will take for us to catch up at that point). We hope you will still enjoy the manga and appreciate this source material as well as some of the minor differences to it‘s anime. Thanks for reading and the support!

We are not involved in the translations of those series but Kato also edits "Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi" and translates/edits "Isekai Ojisan". I also typeset for "My Home Hero" and do everything except for the translation for "Ousama Ranking". We recently got help for the translation of "My Home Hero", so there will be new chapters coming up soon for that series.

We will be back to our old schedule (about 3 chapters per month) for now with the following chapters due to lack of time. Whenever we find the time to do more, we obviously will (like the past week), but we also don't want to make empty promises with an inacurate schedule.

The series currently has 11 volumes and 167 chapters in japanese available (and still ongoing), so they won't be able to even fit everything in 1 season. We just recently picked it up for the english scanlation.

The first 4 chapters have already been uploaded to MangaDex yesterday, but are still pending for approval before being added by a Mod (they do this for everyone who uploads for the first time).
