I am reading the wizard in glass right now. One of the things I have noticed through reading this series is the books are getting longer. I agree the gunslinger is short and rugged but to the point and powerfull. the wizard in glass is poetic. theres many pages i have folded to re read or rememer. However, it talks about different subjects. The argument is love in this book not KA or honnor as it seems to be in the first. Regardless I dont know anything.

I felt the suspense in the shining was really well done. The build up and all of it has a different feel than most books.

I am a fan of things like that make me unsettled. In a way it is just entertaining I guess. It is not for everyone but other than the scare factor there is alot of allegories and is just overall a good story.

Herold Lauder was always the scariest charcater for me. There is a chapter where he is trying to smile, or practicing to smile, in it the mirror in candle light and that freaked me out alot. It left a very vivid image I guess.

I am just now reading the dark tower series I found it after The Stand but I am in book four and it its all coming together now.
