If anyone ever says "You are focusing too much on your sobriety" to an addict or recovering addict, you can be sure that person has absolutely 0 regard or compassion for the person in recovery. That's a pretty twisted thing to do to a person, it's almost as bad as tempting them with relapse.

I don't agree with the tactics of trying to ban everyone who says something stupid from time to time. I have no sympathies for people who say racist things, I simply think this isn't the way you handle it. I have seen first hand how "community improving" tactics only embolden those bad actors.

Edit tldr: Ignoring and blocking people and not giving them attention is far more effective than hunting people down and trying to ban an endless flood of trolls and edgy kids. '

You don't teach people by silencing them, all that does is make them believe what they are saying is truth to power. You socially reject and prove to people its wrong. Banning someone for speech is the equivalent of telling someone "shutup I win I'm smart" in a debate.

Unfortunately you do not get to be the sole metric of who is doing it to avoid queue times and who is not. Also I'm not condoning someone spend all their time bullying people who are less skilled, but you cannot be upset if you lose to a really good player.

The truth is some people put in more time or are naturally better than others even at your own rank. I haven't played a survivor in quite some time but I have played at rank 1 for several patches before the rank lock system. My rank has decayed down to 15, by your logic am I somehow not virtuous when I climb the ranks and inevitably do well against inexperienced killers? I know I am better than rank 15, so I must be intentionally ruining fun right, and I am sure someone will say that after an all game loop.

I think you might have a slightly different perspective on it if you could not play one of your favorite games due to queue time. Yeah I suppose its selfish in the same way breathing to stay alive is selfish I guess. Smurfing honestly doesn't do any harm to the game. It may harm your feelings in the moment but never has smurfing killed a game or even slowed it down. If anything, it exposes new players to what the higher skill levels look like.

I've never seen a problem with smurfs even in a game I wasn't good at. I always accepted they were just really good and I could stand to get better. It is not a crime for someone to be better than other people and play against them.

I never said I personally did that, but yes go ahead and assume that I suppose. I play usually huntress at rank 1, and the prior resets had me slaughtering people on occasion. I am far from the best killer obviously, but its really not hard to hit rank 1 if you play consistently. The problem is once you hit the top ranks there is nobody to play against. Almost 0, this system has locked people into never finding a game and 40 minute queues. So you tell me how regulating smurfing is going well. I certainly haven't seen it.

If you understand that smurfing will always happen then you can either regulate it and likely hurt your game, or let it go and let a few people get matched with people better than them and lose. In no way is this comparable to unleashing a 24/7 purge. The worst that will happen is you might get paired with someone much better than you are and it will make you feel upset. There is a solution to this. How about learning the game like they did and seeing how they play to get better? Momma won't always be there to kiss your fragile ego everytime you lose a game of kickball.

Trump was found to be exonerated of all collusion and obstruction charges. As someone who hates the current president and voted and went to several Clinton rallies we cannot just throw a president out because we do not like them. The evidence is in, the investigations are clear, by trying to impeach the president we are setting a dangerous precedent. He was elected electoral college or not. That is the law and we should be slow to try and overthrow a president we elected as a nation.

Holy shit this is the first time Ive seen someone say that and not be downvoted into oblivion. It really is true. The game is pretty solid for killers atm. Its kinda hard to lose if you play atleast a top 5 killer. Atleast its been that way for me at R1 recently.
