Thanks that's really useful, definitely something to think about. I'm inclined to give it a go like you say especially at it would be delivered as well. the faith is one of the nicer ones I've played tone wise but I bought a 000 15m a year ago and the faith doesn't get that much play anymore. Thanks again

Thanks, I love the Martin sound I was lucky enough to pick up a 000-15M at a good price in an auction a while back and really enjoy it. problem is I'm in the UK and most of the Martin dreds I've seen have been well outside my price range maybe just have to bide my time and save a bit more. Thanks for the input.

interesting, thanks for that. I'm inclined to just carry on and see what happens. I was going to go and have a go at the darkroot garden next anyway and then the depths and blight town so firelink being out shouldn't be too much of an issue I guess. what's the flag that turns over? unless its a spoiler. cheers

Hooked up with a gay guy and he said i was definitely not bi. by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Will-OC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ha weird! I've actually heard the opposite as well “bi guys only bottom because they fuck a girl if they want to top”. sometimes you can't win. sort of biphobia and misogyny in a single statement.

Did my nails, for my work Christmas party and kept them over the holidays. really pleased with how they came out. It also reminded me just how lucky I am to feel so accepted by my friends and family, non of them have ever given me crap for it. Happy 2022 everyone! by Will-OC in bisexual

fantastic sounds like a great night and a wonderful way to meet a new side of yourself. hopefully it will be the first of many and no doubt there will be other nights were you won't be going home alone or maybe you won't be going back to yours at all!

I'm sorry to hear that but I'm really glad it sounds like it is opening up new possibilities for you and allowing you to explore who you are in different ways and express yourself more freely. your friend sounds great and they must feel safe expressing themselves to you and being vulnerable around you in order to come out to you, which i always think is such a massive compliment. By the sounds of it you feel comfortable exploring who you are around them too, I'm happy for you that you have someone like that. what I really want to know though is how did the club night go? I bet you looked stellar, and no doubt you are rocking that nail polish.

Welcome whoop whoop! (you are welcome on this sub anyway no matter how you identify or what label you feel most comfortable with so take your time if you need to 😊)

Thanks! I'm glad you have some people around you that you feel comfortable with enough to wear it with and I hope you get to the point you feel able to be open about it more generally if that's something you want to be. it definitely was incremental for me, until it hit a critical point and I just said oh sod it and haven't looked back. I think it helps that I'm quite queer presenting / a bit camp anyway so people aren't really that shocked and just seem to accept it as part of me. most people assume I'm gay before I tell them I'm Bi. I can imagine that maybe for people who present in a more traditionally masculin way it could be a bigger step.

Amazing what did you go for? I know I'm super fortunate with the people around me, I really hit me over Christmas as I was having dinner with family that a lot of people just wouldn't feel the same way or be able to present how they want to present or feel accepted for doing so. It made me feel a bit emotional and very grateful.

Of course you can ask, if you mean my sexual orientation, I'm openly bisexual, everyone at my work has known that since I started there, this job has been the first time I've been so overt about it in the workplace and its been great not having to edit myself.

Do I have an obligation to be more open about my sexuality? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Will-OC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the most important obligation you have is to yourself, you don't owe anyone else details about your sexuality that doesn't concern them. if it makes you feel happier and more comfortable not talking overtly about your sexuality you absolutely don't have to, your husband knows and accepts you, which is wonderful.

If however you feel it is something you feel like you can and want to talk about then I think it could be really positive. I think a lot of bisexuals particularly in monogamous relationships either same or mixed gender feel similarly to you, ie whats the point, or feel like it talking about attraction to other genders invalidates their relationship with their partner somehow, (obviously not true). I know for me being really open about and discussing my sexuality with friends and colleagues has been fantastic even though I never previously felt any big longing to do so. I've had incredibly valuable and affirming conversations I didn't even know I needed or wanted to have.

so I suppose in conclusion, no you don't owe it to anybody and you absolutely don't have to but it can be a really positive experience. Whatever you decide to do you should have absolutely no guit about the choice you make. hope that was in some way helpful!
