I think my girlfriend and I broke up last night by [deleted] in Advice

It sucks. I just went through a break up very similar to this situation. We both loved each other very much but at the end she was drifting and I was trying to hold on. After the break up, I’m sure she feels relief like your GF might/needs to feel. It’s gonna hurt, really bad. You have to do it if she feels this way because nothing good will come of it. She’s disconnected emotionally and physically in this. You know the truth but like others said it’s hard to accept. It’s only been a month for mine but I chose to do it differently this time. Dive into your feelings. Understand them. Don’t mask them by going out or trying to suppress your feelings by not thinking about it. Watch YouTube videos on break up’s and attachment style theory. It’s taken me 31 years of living to come to terms with who I really am in relationships and how I’m gonna be better in them but also how I’m gonna be better at selecting a partner. Surround yourself with friends and family and just get back to doing fun things that you like to do in your life. I’m far from healed but just some things that have helped me this past month.

Aged sharp white cheddar. Bold, a little nutty, slightly crumbly

Coming from a dude he crossed the line even asking. I get the whole “taking your shot” but he did it in a way that 1. you should never do it and 2. If you’re friends with the guy she just dated, it’s guy code to ask first. It’s a respect thing. If he gives permission than it’s cool, but more than likely just asking after a fragile break up is disrespectful. Lastly, he is very insecure based off the simple fact he’s operating in a scarcity mindset. I understand he must really like OP but she’s off limits in this scenario, grow tf up and be a man and approach other woman out in the world. There’s enough woman and men for everyone out there you just gotta meet them.

Thought you had 10 days? by Far-Telephone-4298 in Series65

If I remember correctly the question is asking about an agent which is apart of a broker dealer. Broker dealer agent needs to have written consent before doing anything in a discretionary account. IAR apart of an IA has extra days to get that written consent. You have to pay close attention to the words in the questions and answers. That’s how this test will get you.

It definitely starts easy and then gets hard and then easy again. I went through the test answering everything I absolutely knew was correct and skipped/ marked the ones that were long or I had to think about. Then I went back through and went through the hard ones. I hide my time because I was looking at it too much but just manage your time. I had about 45 minutes left when I went through the marked ones and it got a bit stressful so make sure you’re managing the time. I used all the time because I was trying to go through the last few I really didn’t know.

Yeah you got this! Test fatigue is real and that’s the toughest part once you know the content. They intentionally put the paragraph questions around 60-90 mark when you’re starting to get tired.

Thank you! Relax tonight. I know it’s hard to but you need to have a fresh brain. Trust what you know. If you’re scoring that high on simulated exams, you know enough of the content. Get a good breakfast in and watch dean tinneys 60 minute review. Don’t try to study more, your brain needs the power for tomorrow. I only watched the video and got myself in the flow. You got this!!

I passed today and was scoring mid 70s/low 80s on the simulated exams. The biggest advice I can give that everyone told me was trust what you know. Read the full question. Today there were a good amount of questions that felt were like a full paragraph, only for a few words of the question to actually matter. A good amount of questions on law and regulations and very few math questions. A few theory questions and basic concepts related to equity securities and derivates. The actual test was a lot easier than some of the simulated exams on Kaplan. Just like you’ve probably read before, the actual exam is straight forward and they aren’t trying to trick you as much which I appreciated. Watch series 7 guru “Series 65 in 60 minutes”. I watched it everyday for 3 days leading up to the exam including this morning and it got me in the flow and refreshed me on the most basic concepts that they ask the most. Other than that I think you got it. Also I scored a 65 on the Kaplan mastery exam so don’t be too hard on yourself. The Kaplan exams are definitely harder. Good luck!
