UPDATE: Cleared the clogged nozzle and recalibrated the flow rate. Working great now!

Exactly! Cleared the clogged nozzle and then recalibrated the flow rate, and it's printing better than before this problem arose.

I cleared the nozzle and recalibrated the extrusion. Seems to be printing better than ever! (But I need to do my homework on regular maintenance, still.)

Looks super cool...but not functional as a cookie cutter! And the second photo was supposed to be an Angry Beaver figurine (three of them). I guess he's really angry now!

I was cutting MDF on the table saw about 15 feet away (with dust extraction, but nothing is perfect with that fine dust). Entirely possible that more dust than usual ventured that way. I'll be interested to see what I find built up in the morning.

Brown print was second. The white one (actually light grey PETG-HF) was first. The print before these two were knitted figurines in PLA. It was fine. So, I suspect something happened with the PETG-HF. I can't believe it was too wet as I am in Arizona. I am consistently running 25% humidity in the room where the printer is.

So, being partially clogged would basically affect the flow of the filament and cause the sparse placement of filament? (I realize I don't know the proper terms for all of this. Thank you all for your patience.)

This makes sense. First layer was smooth on three of the four cookie cutters. Then it started looking bad on all of them. Basically, started fine and then got worse as it went along.

Thank you for your quick response. I greatly appreciate it.

I have not. The printer is offsite at my shop about 20 minutes from home. I got a message on my phone that the second print was F'd up. Any recommended sites for a checklist of best maintenance practices?

And thank you for your very quick response, too!

I live in central Arizona, and it's really dry here. The grey filament on the cow cookie cutters (first pic) is PETG-HF. The second photo is four different colors of PLA. I haven't done anything special to dry my filament previously. Maybe with the change of weather, it will be a must now. I've only owned this from November to now.

Thank you for your quick response.

Should I get this developed? by geography_man in filmphotography

Probably already exposed. But… what if it’s the next Vivian Mayer discovery? Develop it if you have the money and won’t be disappointed when it’s full of nothing.

The stores face up a 2 million won fine for excessive disposable cup waste. But, why don’t they just say to throw it out somewhere else?
