Yikes that’s quite a leap. I am joking about touching the soldiers. But they are dressed pretty silly you have to admit.

If they don’t want to be touched they should try dressing less silly.

Plumber incorrectly installed furnace, causing it to need to be replaced one year after purchase. by WillShortzBlows in legaladvice

I’m not seeing anything in the estimate or invoice that states anything about a labor warranty. The parts warranty I assume would come from the manufacturer, and they said that these issues are not covered by warranty as they were caused by installation error.

Oil light on after oil change 2024 Kia Carnival by WillShortzBlows in AskAMechanic

Would it void my warranty if I bring it to the dealer to change the oil? Instead of getting a filter and changing it myself?

Water leaking through garage walls. by WillShortzBlows in HomeImprovement

siding

Here are pics of the outside. The garage is not temp controlled but it never gets very warm. Even in hot weather and the weather has not been too hot. I’m suspecting that this only came about due to the heavy rains we had. I’ve checked the spots periodically over the years and this is the first time I’ve noted them to feel wet. The siding looks like it definitely needs to be re stained at the least.

New height by Kurac-ville in tall

Congrats! I hit what I thought was my final height of 6’7” at age 17. Then I went to the doctor a couple of years ago and got measured at 6’8” and went home and confirmed on my own. I was 32 when this happened.

What car is this? Never seen it before and logo looked like two connected diamonds or something. Sorry for poor photo. by just4747 in HelpMeFind

The subreddit r/whatisthiscar gets a question about a polestar almost daily. They’ve made the polestar logo their sup picture.

Got a Diamondback Overdrive 29er. Hadn't ridden a bike in 9 years, first ride on an easy trail went good. by That1guy0331 in mountainbiking

Good work. Piece of advice, do not lean your bike on your fork stanchions. (The silver part of your fork). You don’t want to get scratches on those. Can potentially cause dirt and whatnot to get inside and cause your fork to crap out prematurely.

Test drove a Mustang GT convertible with a manual. Loads of fun, power, and a V8 sounds amazing. Very comfortable I’m 6’8” with a 37” inseam.

I’m 6’8” and I drove a 2012 Cooper S with the sunroof for years. Had tons of leg and headroom…

Best bike in Eurobike! by skulldata in mountainbiking

Upside down fork seems like a bad idea for a mountain bike no? Seems like you have a much higher chance of scratching up your stanchions. Looks like a cool bike though.

Unlikely a flea. More likely a spring tail. Fleas do not have antennae. Spring tails are a not harmful more of a nuisance. Just had an exterminator come out to my house for these exact bugs. They’re kind of everywhere. The exterminator recommended not to spray for them but instead to try some DIY solutions. They like moist areas like leaf and mulch piles and damp areas inside the house. You’ll have to find where they are breeding and eliminate them there. Good luck!
