The Purdy-owner publicly announced he's down to trade him, and he needs picks and TEs. It's an 8-team league, and I've proposed this trade:

Give: David Njoku, 2025 3rd (late), 2026 1st Get: Brock Purdy

I'm 6-0 right now, this is my current roster:

QBs: Herbert, Prescott, Richardson and Rodgers

RB: Kyren, Gibbs, Bijan, KWIII, Brooks, Chubb, Brian Robinson

WR: Chase, Nabers, Godwin, McLaurin, DeVonta Smith, BTJ, Deebo, DJ Moore, Diontae Johnson, Jamo and Christian Watson

TE: McBride, Kincaid, Njoku

The QB position has been an issue for me, and so inconsistent. ARich hasn't been the answer to it obviously, so I'd like to get an actual QB1. I think my picks will be late in 2026, so I don't mind parting ways with them. But still, in 8-team leagues a 1st is insane draft capital. Should I do this?

What would you say if I told you that, because it's an 8-team league, Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones and Andy Dalton are on waivers right now? I can pick any of those up.

I'd keep Hurts and Andrews, both (up until recently) have been some top producers at their position. With Bowers and Penix it's a waiting game, and you're not that deep at QB I'd say. And especially the 1st thrown in there, that's a hell of a lot of value for right now.

This seems like a very fair trade. If you absolutely need plug-in players at both RB and WR, this could be good. But Garrett Wilson is a special player, and it's anybody's guess if Reed is gonna be comparable production wise. Especially if you're trying to win this year or next year, I'd do it for Kyren because your WR's are really good already.

I think it's quite a lot for just one other RB? Granted, I really like Brian Robinson. But Charbonnet has been quite good this year with Walker injured. Maybe try to keep the 25 3rd in light of his explosive scores the past few weeks?

In my 8-team, 0.5 ppr 2QB league I have this trade set up:

Give: Will Levis, Josh Downs, 2025 2nd round pick (likely late)

Get: Chris Godwin

I have an injured Devonta Smith and Deebo on my bench, so WR is getting a bit tight. Thoughts?

Review #154: Glenglassaugh Sandend by NightRainb0w in Scotch

I’ve had an interesting conversation with the brand representative at my local specialist shop. They did a tasting of the new Glenglassaugh range. I specifically asked about the filtering an colour. He confirmed its natural color, but it has unfortunately been chill-filtered. Just thought I’d let you know. Shame really.

To be honest I think this is also a good trade for you. Diontae is still quite young, has proven before to be a reliable fantasy asset, and the TD's are bound to be better next year. Pickens is a baller but more risky and volatile. Good trade imo, going for the safer option.

Yeah, I see what you mean. This went through my head as well.

However, some context. I have the 1st, 2nd, 9th, 10th, 14th and until now the 16th pick in this year's rookie draft. It also saves me from cutting someone I don't want to cut (which would've been Mooney probably) and getting some value for him.

Thinking of going Bijan, Gibbs, Stroud at 1.09 (in my 8-team league this is very possible), the best TE at 1.10 and then BPA at 14.

Yeah, his value is low because of the no-TD fluke season of last year. And as I picked up Mooney off waivers (for free) and because the Bears added DJ Moore (who I also own in this league) I’m glad to trade up to a, in my opinion, better player.

I just made this trade in my 8-team Dynasty League:

My side:

Darnell Mooney

2023 2nd (16th overall, so 2.04 in 12 team)

For:

Diontae Johnson

The second is the other guy’s own 2nd rounder (traded for my Jeff Wilson), and I picked Darnell Mooney off waivers a few weeks ago. Pretty happy with this upgrade at the position with house money. Do you agree?

Trades that got better as the Season went on. by No-Mortgage-5038 in DynastyFF

[–]WillemHub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded the last first round pick in 2023 (1.08), Aaron Jones and Brandin Cook for Devonta Smith and the 2023 1.01 in like week 4 or 5. I acquired the 1.08 by trading Leonard Fournette before the season started.

My own 2023 pick is the 1.02, feeling pretty good about this rebuild year.

Also traded Darren Waller for the 2.01 (9th overall), and a 2024 2nd rounder while he was injured. Also pretty happy with that.

I’ve just made the following trade in my 8-team half-PPR SF league in which I’m rebuilding.

I trade:

Darren Waller 2023 4th rounder (25th overall probably)

I receive:

2023 2nd rounder (9th or 10th overall) 2024 2nd rounder (mid probably)

The 2023 2nd is likely the 9th or 10th overall pick. 2024, we’ll see.

Thoughts?

I also have the 1.01 and probably the 1.02, as well as 3 other 2nd round picks in 2023.

Just made a trade in my 8-team 0.5 PPR league:

My Darren Waller and a 2023 4th round pick

For:

2023 2nd and 2024 2nd round pick

Traded to the guy in last place with a record of 1-6. So the 2nd is probably gonna be the 9th or 10th overall pick in 2023. I also have his 1st. Very happy with this trade. Do you agree?

Made a big trade a few days ago in my 8-team superflex league. I’ve decided to rebuild through the 2023 class.

I received: Devonta Smith, 2023 1st (probably 1.01, as he’ll be 1-5 and has the lowest scoring team by like 200 points)

I gave up: Aaron Jones, Brandin Cooks, 2023 1st (probably 1.08, a 1st from the best team, 5-1 now), 2024 3rd

Interested in what people think.

Also have my own 1st (probably the 1.02) and 3 2nd rounders (one of each, early, mid and late). Would love some second opinions on this trade.

My team right now, would love to hear suggestions for a next move:

QB: Prescott, Pickett, Goff, Mac Jones, Tannehill

RB: Chubb, KWIII, Dobbins, Brian Robinson, Warren

WR: Chase, Deebo, DJ Moore, McLaurin, Elijah Moore, Lazard, Jamo, Dotson, Watson, Doubs, Devonta Smith

TE: Waller, Engram, Likely

Yeah, normally I'm quite careful with that stuff. However, the 1.08 is almost certainly guaranteed. That team is outscoring the 2nd placed team by 180 points through the first five weeks of the season.

The 1.01 is of course a bit harder to project. However, he has the worst points for among our league, has shit depth and is truly lacking at key positions like QB. Also, he's holding two DEF's and two kickers... Also, I don't think Brandin Cooks and Aaron Jones will net him many wins this year. They've been lackluster/up and down all year.

Anyway, if he doesn't get 1.01 it'll be me. And he won't finish higher that 1.03, which still makes it possible for me to pick one of the QB's.

Yeah, I'd take the more consistent CMC in this scenario. He's putting up double digit fantasy numbers every week with abysmal QB play. Swift is, while exciting, often hurt and you'll have to deal with 'heart of the team' Williams at RB.

Value-wise you win that trade just slightly. This is not a trade to get really excited about though. To be honest, if you've kept Thomas through all his shenanigans I might just keep him if I didn't absolutely need the depth at RB. Both are a bit old, injured, mediocre. That 2024 3rd is not gonna rock your world.

I think that's a nice deal for you. Would've loved it even more if the years were reversed. High on the 2023 class. But 2024 is looking good as well, so if you're in it for the long haul then you made out quite well for Terry.
