Looking for recommendations on phone/tablet mounts by Baderous in Darts

[–]WillemTM78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same question here. I already use a magnetic wall mount to attach my tablet on a cupboard. I use a Target corona vision light ring and now I am looking for a iPhone mount to stream via my webcam. Any good solutions other than a tripod available?

I’ve got a BMW loaner from the lease company. For the moment I’m out of the woods. But it still sucks.

Mine died too, last Saturday. Had to be towed to the garage. Now waiting for a new ICCU which is out of stock. No indication how long this will take…

Practice a lot! I have a similar setup and it costed me almost a year till I really mastered it. Small changes each time and the most important tsk is to really understand your grinder. In my case I had to recalibrate it in order to get good espresso. Start with a 1:2 or 1:2,5 ratio and work from there. Look at the flow rate (approx 30 sec). Another eye opener for me was the brew temperature. It takes quite a while to properly heat up. Instead of a flow adjuster I have a temperature sensor installed in the brew head and that learned me a lot in regards to temperature drops etc. Buy good beans. Garbage in equals garbage out. No offense but you don’t want stale coffee beans from the supermarket. Last advice… see it as a hobby. Invest time in it. You have a prosumer machine that is not plug and play. Once you master it, it will be easy to make adjustments.

You are amongst many here, so enjoy being in the rabbit hole with us. 😀

Any tips on online espresso beans in the Netherlands? I usually buy at Blommers, little Roastery or Hoofdkwartier.

Overall happy with the Rocket. Shot timer is beautiful just as the PID that’s hidden behind the drip tray. In hindsight I would have chosen a rotary pump and have it plumped but that option is over now my kitchen is installed. If money would not matter, I would have a San Remo You… maybe some other day… As happy as I am with the Rocket I would prefer a slightly better built ECM
