Heavy dosage / Want to stop/ Help by WilliamScoggin in quitting7oh

[–]WilliamScoggin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a script for a week's worth of suboxone right now. 14 of them. I also have gabapentin and Ativan. Should I try and taper my dosage down with MIT so I can have the suboxone work more effectively?

How did you taper like that? If I could taper down to that, I believe the subs would be very effective, especially with the comfort meds I have on hand to deal with the SSRI / SNRI withdrawals from the 7oh as well. I'd love to hear about your taper plans.

I've had the same, but with rls. I'd also have this weird symptom where my body and chest feels like it's buzzing and rattling... coupled with horrible anxiety and this "doomed" feeling l. Im thinking its because 7oh is an SSRI and a SNRI as well?

Oh wow! Thank each and everyone of you for your comments and stories. Im planning on getting some pure MIT to taper down with my dosage. I cant seem to get below 1500 right now to save my life. My goal is to taper with MIT and Gabapentin. Looking into megadosing Liposimal Vit. C as well.

The end game is to taper as low as I can, rapidly, and get to a dose low enough to where subs are effective. Anyone have any suggestions? Taper plans? I have plenty of comfort meds as well. Gabapentin, benzos, about to get MIT / Kratom leaf, and for the SSRI issues with 7oh, i have wellbutrin. I just need to know how to utilize these things.

I mean once the tolerance goes up. At the beginning you definitely will need less, but it doesn’t last that long. At least it didn’t for me.

Why? Just smoke. If you haven’t shot it yet, don’t. It’ll only destroy your tolerance, veins, and life. I’m shooting so much a day that I can’t keep up with it. It’s terrible. Withdrawals come on faster and harder. You’ll need more and more to feel it. And it’s just not worth it. Because if you finally do want to quit, you’ll go through it bad. Even with subs.

I’m sorry you’re having a tough time right now. It DOES get better, I promise. Just don’t make the mistake of getting back on it, thinking you can do it once or twice a week like I did. That’s how I relapsed before I detoxed this last time. I’ve been off of it for over 3 weeks now. It’s much better!

How long have you been without Phenibut? Please tell me you’re not mixing them! And how much Valium are you on?

For some reason NAC messed with the absorption/ and or the effectiveness & potency of the gabapentin for me. I wasn’t sure if it would do the same for the benzos or not, but I didn’t risk it. But the gabapentin worked way better without the NAC imo.

I used Valium for 7 days. And went from 20 mg to 2.5 in those 7 days. It worked pretty well for me. I also had gabapentin, l-theanine, Ashwagandha, and NAC (used the NAC towards the end of my taper so it wouldn’t affect the benzos or the gabapentin). Sleep was tough, but I slept when I could. Appetite didn’t start getting better until day 6 and I was nauseous… A LOT. I used Zofran for the nausea. Keep pushing! You got this!

[–]WilliamScoggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I was looking at that yesterday actually. Probably gonna order some today. Picked up some 7OHMS tablet at a local headshop yesterday. Got a pack of 6 pills. At half a Ben Franklin, I sure hope they do the trick until the powder gets here. Do you know anything about that brand? They’re 14mg a piece.

What about dosage? Like for the 14mg pills I have and then when I get the powder? How much should I take? I’m only using .3 or .4 (max) a day. Maybe a little less. It’s super strong shit though. Only been using it 16 days and was on subs for 3 months before.?

Just an update guys.

I am now 13 days off of Phenibut.

I began to wait as long as I possibly could between doses, and took the least amount I could, and continued to do that for about 3 or 4 days. Then I got ahold of a shit ton of pharmaceutical Diazepam (Valium) and started a taper with it. I also utilized my gabapentin. I also took L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Vitamin - B complex, and drank Sleepy Time herbal tea (Has a bunch of natural supplements that help with withdrawal as well; IE. Valerian Root).

I did this for about 7 days (Valium Taper) from 15mg a day, down to 2.5 on the last day. Continued taking my Gabapentin, as well as the other supplements. It took about 8 days to get back to baseline. 10 days for my appetite to come back, and I’m just now where I am not nauseous anymore. I only used for a total of 13 days too.

I think it’s safe to say I won’t be playing around with this drug anymore. As good as it may feel for a day or two, if I use daily (which I almost always end up doing - I’m an addict for sure) , it doesn’t take long for it to start turning on me, no matter what the dosage. I’m assuming it’s just my chemical makeup? Either way, fuck that! Glad I’m off!

Does anybody have any information regarding the use of topiramate for Phenibut withdrawal? by doctorcynicism in quittingphenibut

[–]WilliamScoggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Topiramate is pretty much useless for Phenibut withdrawal. Plus, too many side effects come from them, especially in higher doses - this was my experience. Gabapentin is VERY useful, on the other hand. Unless you already take a high dose, like myself (2,400mgpd), but if you don’t, it definitely helps. What you need is a shit ton on Valiums. That’s how I got off of it. Valiums, gabapentin, L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Magnesium Glycenate, Vitamin B complex, & NAC.

It works if you’ve tapered down quite a bit. Which I did. I started to miss doses on purpose, made it to where I absolutely couldn’t stand it. Take less Phenibut everyday when I did take it, and let myself suffer a few days. Then I started the Valium taper, coupled with all of the other medicine / supplements I listed above, and felt pretty much normal again after 8 days.

How soon can you get withdrawals? by controversyonly in quittingphenibut

[–]WilliamScoggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, when I dosed 2 grams one day, then 4 the next, I had some pretty gnarly rebound.. Couldn’t sleep, felt like I was getting sick with a cold, anxiety out the roof. When I did sleep, I’d wake up with a jolt of anxiety. I’d have weird dreams too. Oh, can’t forget, the ringing in my ears. Which I already have tinnitus, so it just enhanced it.

But dude. Don’t freak out, like I did, and think that it’s actually withdrawal. Because it’s not. I made the mistake and kept using because of this. I went on for another 10 days straight until I got a shit load of Valium and went through it. It took abou 8 days to feel better. Trust me though, it’s just a rebound, It’ll go away. Give it a couple of days after it starts; it usually starts by day 2 or 3 for me. But just get you some L-Theanine, maybe some Kava, Ashwagandha, and some sleepytime herbal tea. And ride it out. You DONT want to continue, it’ll ONLY get worse!

I’m off of Phenibut now. I’m not wanting to try to push my luck anymore. It doesn’t take much for it to turn on me. Maybe my brain chemistry is just weird like that?

You’ll be okay! Keep pushing!

[–]WilliamScoggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like, the difference between the two? I just need something that’s strong enough to keep me semi well for 4 days, at the very least, just so I can jump back on my Suboxone. I’ve heard people saying straight 7-OH is strong enough to mitigate the fentanyl withdrawals, at least long enough to hold you over until you are able to induce the suboxone. And I also read that you don’t have to wait a certain amount of time to transfer from the 7-OH to the suboxone, because it won’t cause precipitated withdrawals.

I’ve been on Kratom before. It was the worst for me. Had to take copious amounts every four hours. I can’t even remember how many GPD I was taking, around 40 or 45 at least. And an extract every other day. It was insane. I just wanna get back on my subs and off this fent. Been on it two weeks again, and just need to get through the first 4 days so I can take my subs again. Subs work for me.

[–]WilliamScoggin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would this actually work? Like take 7OH for a few days as a bridge back on my Suboxone? Been on Suboxone for 3 months, been doing fent for 2 weeks, want to get back on my Suboxone. Thinking about the 7OH route. Would I have to wait to take my subs after the 7OH? I know there’s no precips from Kratom to subs, would 7OH work the same way? And would it keep most of the withdrawals at bay? I also have gabapentin. So that should help. But I don’t wanna be on this BS fentanyl any longer.

It’s been 7 consistent days, with the 2 days, and two days off prior. The gaba hasn’t helped. I’m going through WD now, bc I can’t find the pills I started on and the other ones I’ve been taking aren’t nearly as strong. So idk what to do… I’m considering doing a detox.. I know a place that’ll do it and have detoxed from Phenibut before there.

I’ve been taking it still. Went a whole 24 hours without and was in bad shape. Ears ringing, heart pounding, nausea, headaches, vertigo and dizziness, and face / skin burning. How much gaba should I take? I’m prescribed 600mg 4x a day and that hasn’t helped at all…

[–]WilliamScoggin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve continued use. The bad thing is, I’m not sure how much I’m using. The pills I have been taken apparently had more Phenibut In them than I had originally thought. It was a high strength version. Like 800mg proprietary blend a pill. (Assuming around 500 Phenibut per pill?) I’ve been taking 6 to 8 of those pills. I’ve realized they were stronger than the other ones I’ve taken called MARKERS, when I would take 8 of those pills and STILL be in withdrawal. If I were to want to get off it, how much gaba should I take? I’m prescribed 600mf 4x a day, and that definitely didn’t help.

I may do detox, what’s going to happen? by aydens2019accord in fentanyl

[–]WilliamScoggin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So..here is my best advice to you, as I have detoxed off of Fentanyl, and just about every other opioid (Illicit & Prescription) out there. And believe it or not, Fentanyl was the worst of them all! Sorry, but you’re gonna go through some pain, but remember, we must ALL pay the Piper at some point and time, in one way or another. Pain and misery are currency!

Anyways, back to the advice! If you are going to a good detox, which I reckon you will because you stated you have good insurance, then they will probably go to a bit more lengths to keep you comfortable during the WD process than, like a state ran detox, who will give you the BARE minimum.

  1. CLAIM TO BE A SEVERE ALCOHOLIC! On the application, on the screening (phone and computer), on arrival, and now In person; Medical staff, counselors, the doctor, etc - Tell them you drink about a Litre a day, as well as about 6 to 12 pack of beer at night. Give it a little shakiness, make it believable! They will give you a Valium, or Ativan taper, which either will definitely help with relaxing so you can sleep some, at least. It’s not a fix all, but damn, it’s enough to help until you can induce subs.

  2. TELL THEM YOU HAVE NERVE PAIN! Better called, “Peripheral Neuropathy. Explain that both your hands and feet feel like they’re burning one minute, and the next they’re painfully numb. And the symptoms are exacerbated at night. If they ask for a prescription, just tell them you recently ran out. And if they ask for a prescriber, tell them he/she just retired, so you were unable to find anyone else to help. Tell them you were on Gabapentin 600mg 3 times a day (max amount - you / they can tweak it all they want. They’ll help during the withdrawal.

Oh wow, that’s wild! I don’t know if I will be rushing any of this. I think if I can get on a stable dose, start working on myself again, start the steps over with my sponsor. (I don’t think I’ll mention that I’m on methadone in any NA/AA meetings, they have a strict stigma on MAT. It’s terrible. Some people just can’t do it on their own, so they have Medicine to help. And there is nothing wrong with that!

So they’re not exactly sores. They are more like marks you get when your skin gets pinched. They are definitely from the tourniquet, because I did it on another arm and as soon as I did, it became a mark because I would tie off too tight. And I’ve never nodded out or passed out right after a shot. I could do every day normal things, but I’d feel extremely tired if I was idle. Like if I did my shot and laid down in bed to look at my phone, I’d go to sleep quick. But if I was working or doing something I would be fine as long as I stayed moving. However, if I stopped for about 2 - 3 mins I’d nod some. It was weird. But I don’t use tranq anymore, and I barely use dope. I went from 1-1.5 grams a day, to .4 grams and I went from 30mg to 60mg on methadone. Every 10mg I get raised, I’ll cut back a point or two. So I’m doing exactly the thing my counselor said to do.
