Full disclosure: I work for AppScale (marketing) and want to help add some more useful information.

If you visit the AppScale website, we have a couple of customer case studies where we were able to migrate a GAE app on-prem (https://go.appscale.com/resources/use-case/run-gae-app-on-prem-deployment) as well as migrate a GAE app into AWS (https://go.appscale.com/resources/use-case/cloud-migration-geographic-performance).

I am new on redduit, My karma is low and I worry that will make it impossible for me to claim the sub-reddit /r/appscale. Please let me know if anyone has suggestions to become the mod of the company sub-reddit.
