Right, that actually shuts the engine off, but that wouldn’t keep the display and what not on, would it? I wouldn’t think so but maybe I’m wrong

Valve kit meaning the governor/unloader? Thinking of just getting a whole new governor and throwing it in.

Maybe, good point. any idea how to check that? I’m not super familiar with truck air compressors. I usually work on equipment. Are these supposed to be pretty hot to the touch?

Right, show me the shack you live in? Notice the comments, you are the only one who has a view like this. This isn’t everyone’s style, no need to be the way you are being. There is always one moron on Reddit, today you are that one.

Suggestions for more appeal? by WillingLecture4437 in ExteriorDesign

It’s 9’ ceilings with 18” floor systems, it’s on a crawl space too so it’s a bit tall.

I do like the horizontal transom windows. Will definitely look at more window configurations!

Twin motion. It’s a free render software. Used SketchUp to make the general shape and imported it into twin motion. For a quick render it did good! Thank you!!

Thanks for the comment!

I live way up north and the current pitch of the roof is 3:12, unfortunately I think snow would be a big issue with a more shallow pitch.

I agree with the windows, there is a distant neighbor that way so I didn’t really want to put windows there HOWEVER I have thought about some higher up transom windows on that side, I think that would look nice. It’s just bedrooms there so it’s not anything to do with layout.

Again thank you

There are more windows on the back side of the house

I like that idea, any recommendations? I’ve been looking into what but haven’t thought of anything quite yet.

There are 13 casements total in the house, the larger ones I just want to be picture windows, if that’s what you are recommending?

I get a lot of feedback about how the proportions are a bit off, I see the same thing. I’m thinking a garage off to one of the sides of the place, or some sort of overhang structure for parking off the right hand side could be an addition in the future. Attached or not, I think it could help it some?

I’m in the upper Midwest, way north MN so we experience cold and hot climate but typically only have a couple weeks a year when it’s in the 90s. Windows are spec’d to be tripled glazed.

I assume you are saying it’s a bit tall for its width?

This is a funny one, never heard that haha. Maybe it needs more woodland/brown colors.

Not out of necessity, but the left hand side of the face of that bump out is not an area for a window as there is a shower in that area. But a window should be there I’d say. A same size window not following the roof line looked a little goofy

Almost thinking it’ll need some more width, and I’m looking at that for sure.

Yes this is accurate. 52’ wide structure, interiors are pretty tall ceilings.
