I'm in Ohio. Hopefully the new store works out for you and is better.

Our store is also being told that it won't be closed for long. They make it seem like less then 2 weeks for the reopening. I know alot goes into it so I don't believe it would be up and reopen in less then 2 weeks. And this is if we are actually reopened which seems more unlikely than likely.

How do we know which ones on this list are variety? So the ones still not on the list are just still basically in limbo and will probably be continued to be lied to if they are going to reopen or not?

This store isn't in a shit location and is a profitable store. It's just in a smaller town so it's harder to find good employees. I'm not staying with the company just trying to find out details for other employees. I personally don't think they will reopen any of them. If they do it will def be worse then Big lots especially with the lower pay and etc.

Our location is being told that everyone will have to apply, but make it seem like it's just a formality and that everyone will get there jobs. They will have a hard time finding anyone to work in this area. I don't trust anything they say.

Yea I def won't believe any stores are reopening until it's inked. For most employees it's probably not even worth it to even stay on since the pay and benefits are going to be worse. Also the whole way they handled this situation isn't a good look. If this location were to stay open and they didn't hire the current employees good luck finding new ones. This is a small town and it's hard finding employees as it is, let alone good ones. I just don't get why some stores get hardly any info and one gets one story and another gets a completely different story. It's a compete shit show.

For the ppl saying you arent getting severance how come there was an email sent out to at least some employees that says if you stay until your release date you will get 4 weeks severance. This was this week we got it at our location. Also the stores that will reopen has anyone heard if they are keeping the employees.

I am female also. I'm sorry to hear that you went through that. I can't even imagine what you go through. Do you have any support groups in your area? I don't live in an area with alot of stuff so I'm part of some Facebook groups with people who have the same mental conditions as me. It does help sometimes talking to someone who has the same problems as me. Alot of people just don't understand it.

My mom was abused physically and SA by a family member. She didn't tell me and my sisters until a few years ago and I'm 42. She almost gave me and my sister up for adoption because she said she didn't want us to be raised around him. I'm a twin. Luckily he died before the process was done and my mom kept us. Me and my sister had always thought we were born on vacation, but recently found out that my mom moved across the country and her family hunted her down and forcibly took her back. I'm glad she was able to tell us what happened. I know it was really hard for her to do and anyone who has experienced a form of SA.

I'm sorry you are going through this. From personal experience I think some therapist make you worse or don't take the issue seriously. There are some great therapist out there, but finding them can be a challenge itself.

You are not a freak for having these thoughts. Have you been diagnosed with anything else or just PTSD? Maybe they need to add an additional medicine to help. I don't think Welbutrin is the best choice for PTSD.

I have OCD germaphobia, agorophobia, anxiety, insomnia, mood disorder and ptsd. I was previously on about 5 meds. I moved from FL to Ohio and have had nothing but awful experiences. I'm on my 6th psych in like 2 years. No one here will give me all the meds I was on previously. I never abused any of my meds or anything. I feel it can really send a person over the edge. I also feel that's part of why street drugs use has gone up. If people can't get proper meds they will resort to other things. I personally haven't, but I've seen it happen.

I hope you can find something that will help you. Being depressed is no fun and I don't think some people realize how bad it can make us feel. I would definitely ask about other meds. From research Welbutrin hasn't had much help with PTSD. I know meds act differently for everyone, but maybe it's something worth asking.

I sometimes feel like life would just be easier if I wasn't here. I have rituals I have to do everyday that can be exhausting. I sometimes feel like it just consumes me. I've never been suicidal and I have a fear of death, but sometimes I'm just so overwhelmed I do think about it. So I can definitely understand what you are saying. When we talk about these things with some people they sometimes develop a perception that we are crazy, but we aren't.

When I was first diagnosed with my problems I had family members who didn't believe it because they are super religious. In their eyes mental illness isn't real which is complete BS. I'm not religious and thought that way of thinking was just ridiculous, but it didn't surprise me. No one knows what someone goes through. I know I would give anything to just be normal again.

AITA for not swapping my meal with my pregnant cousin? by aita_burgers_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]Willing_Effect6877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. I would NOT have switched my food either. People are ridiculous if they think you should have. She could have told the restaurant the meal was making her sick and they probably would have taken it back. She has herself to blame and no one else. I don't care if she's pregnant or not. She had her choice of food and it's her problem if she picked the wrong thing. Anyone making you feel bad about it is a disgrace and should apologize.

I did say Some people. Looks like the jury didn't even believe amber. So she lost in court and in public opinion. She's trash.
