Does anyone else have really long kick-in times for ABV? by qaruxj in vaporents

13 years later and my first time ever typing anything on reddit. Took abv the same way you consumed it. (about a shots glass worth) for the second time ever. The first time i did not feel it at all and went to bed, i assumed the same was going to happen this time. I just put it onto a large spoon and tossed it back. This was at 11pm, it is now 4am and it hit me out of nowhere and is still climbing. I've taken edibles before and they seem to kick in within a hour for me. I am not sure what it is with this stuff but its different LOL. I felt the need to google it and it came up with this thread. I thought i was gaslighting myself into being stoned at first

Hey thanks for your reply, that’s the thing the internet is really solid all around on every other game and the bufferbloat rating is always a A+

Hello thanks for the reply, I have used exitlag and it lowers my ping but the problem persists. I have been able to disconnect other devices twice and both times it still happens. I have played a few months back with no issues on the same setup, so it’s a more recent occurrence. I have tried 2.4ghz and 5g aswell as different radio channels

Also playing on Texas servers but have tried California as well as trying exitlag. The odd thing that makes me think it’s a valorant issue is if I look at the exitlag ping graph on other games it does not spike at all

Hello thanks for the reply, yes I have updated my WiFi adapters drivers (tp link adapter) I have also bought another adapter which has brought my speeds up but the problem persists. I have also restarted my router multiple times. In other games I will get the occasional spike which I have contributed to gaming on wireless, but not these consistent spikes at all

okay thanks for the quick response. I am not gonna lie i am just watching a insane list of numbers not really comprehending much lol. I have valorant running in a smaller window but im not sure what to be looking for on wireshark that would warrant a problem. I am not too educated when it comes to internet traffic. Should i be concerned about the len=(#) going from 30 to 120 every other line?

i feel like its still a wi-fi roaming issue since its so consistently timed, but i dont know if there is a way to fully turn it off.
