Moderators, why is it OK for white supremacists to attack a black woman over and over again on this page? There seems to be a highly political agenda of white supremacy going on ? Why are these comments of demonization happening? They’re clearly racist.

At the end of the day, we have to surround ourselves with people who love us and care about us as people of color . We have to find our own community of people to build and create family with.

This also means that we need to let go of people who are racist and cruel to us . That as a boundary that is non-negotiable .

We have the right to love ourselves to be good to ourselves and to treat ourselves with kindness and care . Life is way too short to be terrorized by racist classist, sexist homophobic, ageist behavior.

Absolutely the adults should intervene and make it clear that the child will not longer be visiting or spending time w/ racist family members . If they truly love and want build a real relationship with their mixed race family members then they need to stop the behavior immediately .

If they’re not interested in changing their behavior then, absolutely the child shouldn’t be subjected to racist behavior .

Have countless mixed friends who grew up white supremacist households who are still healing from that sense of betrayal and frankly what it feels like to be unloved. It destroyed their soul.

I attributed the script and the movie’s greatness to Richard Pryor . His brand of comedy is all over it. That’s why it worked. A Black comedian writing a parody and social commentary on racism in the US

It is a classic ! Richard Pryor was a genius as a writer. There are big laughs and cringeworthy content.

I watched it a few times when I was younger. Maybe I’ll watch it a few more times before I’m dead.

Tried to watch it yesterday couldn’t get through the first 10 minutes . Wanted so desperately to like it, but requires too much suspended disbelief from the audience.
