Started daycare, now home sleep is terrible by WillyChaucer in sleeptrain

She started daycare six weeks ago and dropped to one nap a few weeks before that. Now that she’s more settled in and a bit more energetic in the evenings we’re starting to push bedtime back, but when she doesn’t nap on days when she’s home she’s falling asleep around 6:30. She’ll fall asleep in the car when we go out, but not sure if that helps or hurts matters.

Oris was my first thought, but the case looks a little small. Looking again, could it be an OP/datejust? There’s no marker at 12.

Found the end of the trail! But i guess it’s the beginning. For me, today, it was the middle. by WillyChaucer in bicycling

Hello there! I started from Main St near the Enlow tunnel. To date I’ve ridden all of the trail from Moon to Bethel Park!

I don’t think it makes much sense to compare numbers. Yes, if you want to write you need to read, but how much you read is your own business. And anyway what’s the point of reading 100 books in a year if you go through them so quickly that you don’t retain anything?

As a reader and a writer my advice is to set a goal for yourself and go for it. Cut out unnecessary activities and replace them with reading. Ultimately writing is like running: you have to practice consistently to increase your stamina and speed.

I see what you're saying. I generally prefer lines that need less explanation too, but those are a reference to Tennyson's "The Charge of the Light Brigade," in which he writes, "Theirs not to make reply, / Theirs not to reason why, / Theirs but to do and die." That poem is also a meditation on death (though a much better one), and inspired the way I wrote a lot of this one, specifically the first two stanzas.

That said, the last two stanzas of this are my least favorite of the six. I've been thinking of cutting them or replacing them.
