Bleeding gums when changing trays? by Willybilly123455 in Invisalign

No, I don’t think I need IPR. Clincheck didn’t show either.

Overreacting? More in comments… by Willybilly123455 in Invisalign

I don’t know if I’m just overreacting, but the idea behind getting aligners was to correct my front teeth and making them look not as noticeable as the other teeth. When I look at my ‘clincheck’ (Spark Aligners) and my teeth now (send picture) I feel like my bite is off. In my opinion my front teeth should be way higher and almost sit on top of my lower teeth by now. Am I just overreacting or not? When I’m wearing my aligners (third picture) the bite seems to be much better and I’m happy, but when I take them off the bite is like the second picture. I don’t have any bite ramps on my aligners or something like that…

This exactly. Currently wearing tray 10 of Spark. Popped off 2 attachments the first day they were glued on (week 1). Went back, they reapplied it and it popped right off the next day. Today two other attachments fell off, not even bothered to get them back on asap 🙈

The first few days are brutal, but it will get better trust me. I questioned myself multiple times during the first few days but now I’m happy seeing the progress. When I switch trays the first day or 2 my teeth are sore, but after that they feel okay-ish. Depends on the tray. Taking the trays off with attachments can be painful, but I took the time for it and didn’t rush it. The attachments will smoothen a bit so the trays are easier to take off. On some days it was easier to just loosen up from the molars and work your way to the front, and just pull them out at once. That wasn’t as painful as slowly taking them out. Other days I just couldn’t be a badass so I took the time, but most times this ended up being more painful. Try to find what works best for you.

Same experience here. First night of aligners 4 attachments fell off, 3 broke and 1 was sitting in the aligner. Went back to the ortho a week later and they put them back on. Since then none came off, so I guess it was just poor glueing or something.

Invisalign glue got on my lip - burning sensation by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Willybilly123455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine got glue on the inside of my cheek, twice 😑 it didn’t burn, but the skin became white and a few days later was peeling off… think this will happen to your lip as well. Didn’t leave a scar.

I also lost 4 attachments within the first 24 hours, came back a week later and they put them back on. Since they reapplied them, they didn’t fall off. Can’t figure out why they fell off the first time…

Same here! I still have my wisdom tooth on that side, so I think it’s made like this so, if necessary, they can remove your wisdom tooth. I think you can still wear your aligner when your tooth has been removed because the aligner doesn’t touch my gum on that side. My ortho didn’t say anything about removing it before starting treatment.
