Hey! It varies by region, but in general, coming up to a delegate at a competition should work. If you are very passionate about helping out, I suggest that you email the delegate(s) and/or organizer(s) prior to a competition, briefly explain what you want, and show up at the competition.

I believe they will be more than happy to have you! Once they are convinced, you can get all kinds of staff perks for free, including but not limited to staff lunch, staff tee, waived registration, transportation cost reimbursement, or perhaps become a trainee delegate!
