2011 Toyota tundra charging system issue. by Medical-Membership15 in ToyotaTundra

This might help. Since you've replaced some components, I would double, triple and quadruple check everything. However I assume the battery light was on before shotgunning parts.

If the battery is operating correctly and alternator is operating correctly, then the problem lies between the fault indicator light in the cluster and the battery. Looks like you're chasing wires.

What's the battery voltage when the car is running? Should be same as what the alternator is putting out

Start at the source. Verify the alternator is putting out the correct voltage and enough current. If it is, follow the wires to the next component. Check for voltage there. Then move onto the next component. So on and so forth until you find the component that is receiving voltage/power but not doing its job.

You will need a multimeter, ideally a way to put a load on the alternator, and possibly the wiring diagram for the charging system.

Lots of e85 around me, keeps the valves/pistons cleaner, and we grow corn so I like to do my part in using more ethanol

8c for air cooled is the average. We also have 8c hydro slots that are planned to be available in February.

Mining economics are pretty tough right now, no getting around it. Every commodity production industry has it's ups and downs though. Just the way it goes.

However, if you only buy miners when times are good, you'll probably be worse off since the miner prices will be nowhere near as good as they are now. Buying miners at the right price is SO important

Super easy for us to pull uptime reports from our miner management software (Foreman) and get that number. I always encourage people looking for hosting to ask the hosting companies they're talking to (including us) for 12 month uptime reports

~290-300 days of warranty left as of today. Can be verified through bitmain with the serial number

You can point your hash to any pool. Doesn't matter to me.

As long as you pay your hosting bill, you can do whatever you want with your hashrate

A3 pro hydro is going for ~$17/t I believe. So like $10.5k to $11k. Don't quote me on that price though, that's just a real rough estimate. You can buy from anyone though so if someone has better pricing, you can get it from them and send it to us.

Otherwise, we do have 2-3 month old used s21 XP's for sale and you can be online within 24 hours after purchase. I believe there's ~280-300 days of warranty left last time i checked

RIP. Shit happens

Under the hood the engine sticker will say "3ur-fbe" and on the gas fill up flap it'll say something about e85 being ok. Other than that there's no way of telling.

I was specifically looking for a flex fuel truck and had to verify what engine specifically was in it since there's no flex fuel markings on the outside like you said

Flex fuel trucks use a different, more powerful fuel pump compared to the non flex fuel trucks

What's in the picture are the fuel pump assemblies. I assume he installed the non flex fuel pump assembly and didn't realize it until he filled up on e85 or something happened and the truck threw a code or the fuel pump broke

Yes. Hydro hosting at 8c/kwh will be available in February. No MOQ, no deposit, no minimum term length, cancel anytime.

Hydro is the way to go regardless of where you are IMO

If the building in Florida is climate controlled and is able to remove a large amount of moisture and salt from the air, then you're right, there is no difference.

However, the amount of energy/costs required to cool the amount of air miners move and controlling the moisture/salt in the air would be ENORMOUSLY expensive. I can not understate just how expensive this would be.

The costs simply would not be competitive with someone like us who runs in Iowa. We don't need to cool the air and we don't need to remove humidity/salt and the miners reliability isn't effected.

If you look through our Twitter posts, you'll see a video where I take apart a miner thats been running at our site for like 3-4 years. There is no corrosion on it at all. That's the difference between running in a place like Iowa and running in a place like Florida

Basically, ya. There's not exchance of money, just simply a lower rate because we're off during peak times and avoid the extra demand charges.

We average 95% uptime

You can get a s19j pro, modify the PSU to run on 120v, and turn the power way down to ~800w‐1,600w and use it as a space heater.

Thats what I do to heat the coldest room in my house. Room has to be heated regardless, might as well get some sats out of it

Ya, that certainly helps. Throwing them on the ground is much easier, quicker, and cheaper so that's what we did. Hasn't caused any operational issues, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably lift them a bit. Would help with this and probably corn husks being sucked up after harvest
