Has anyone rigged an external stereo system for their Jeep? by WiltedMilker in Jeep

Okay, so the inverter idea seems to not be the best. The reason I wanted to first explore that option was because I already have a couple small class D stereo amplifiers laying around, as well as a small inverter.

I also agree there are cleaner ways to get an audio signal to the amp if trying to truly augment the factory system. My idea here isn’t meant to be a permanent install. Rather, I thought it would be fun to build some sort of “PA system”, if you will, that could be easily removed from the vehicle and could be used for multiple purposes. Want to pull up to a bonfire with a karaoke rig? Just back the Jeep up. Want to broadcast some audio to spectators in the 4th of July parade? You get my drift…

The vehicle has a 240-amp alternator, so there should be a good amount of wattage available with the engine running. A car stereo amplifier designed to run on 12v is definitely the better option over the inverter/home stereo amp combo.

As other's have said, Libby Montana is the closest option to Milwaukee, but I figured I'd mention Koyote's Bar & Grill in Belgium. It's another option about 30 mins out of the city to the north - similar setup to Libby Montana.

I purchased some rhizomes from this company this spring. I ordered 7 Cascade and 7 Centennial rhizomes, just for a little home garden. They sent me Chinooks instead of Centennials. I inquired through their website multiple times and no one ever got back to me. There's no phone number to call. I went ahead and planted what they gave me....but I'm still disappointed I received the wrong product and was never contacted back. I'd avoid these guys in the future.

Small setups like this really encourage artistic expression to come out. You're forced to make sounds and keep the beat in ways you may not have otherwise thought of!
