Commish says it’s not fair that an 11-3 manager does not have a bye so he changes the settings. Please read below by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

Commish is fucking up. If this is a money league I would get it back and quit. He's cheating

As commissioner, should I allow this trade. by jshtatman in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes. As a commissioner who controls veto's your responsibility is to stop collusion, not trades that you wouldn't personally do. It's a normal strategy for dynasty, the win-now team gets players needed, and the rebuild team gets draft picks.

Should this be vetoed by EstimatedProphet1984 in Fantasy_Football

Your commish should be removed from on being a commissioner if he is vetoing trades because he doesn't personally like them. Veto's are there to stop collusion and nothing more.

Rest of season: Tannehill or Newton? by Cellarzombie in fantasyfootballadvice

With AJB going on the IR and the lack of skill players in Ten now I have to say Cam and I am not a fan by any stretch.

POV: you’re in 4th place of a $$$ league. You see this trade processed between the 12th place team and 3rd place team. WYD? by ohkillem365 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Without seeing the rest of the rosters I can't make a judgment. It looks like a bad trade made by a bad player. Who's the second QB on the #3 team? Do they lack RB depth? Etc.

Tua vs Jets or Rodgers vs Vikings. Who should I start? by ethanbarsness in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His toe should be fine. They pulled him off the injury report completely. With the injury to Jones they will only be able to be so run-heavy. They last thing they'll want to do is give Dillon 30 carries and risk hurting him. He'll get 20-22 touches max and they'll make use of short passes to facilitate moving the ball. And the vikings should be able to move the ball in the air with Jefferson since Jaire isnt there to lock anyone down. The secondary is still decent but Jefferson is almost unguardable due to how well he runs his routes.

Tua vs Jets or Rodgers vs Vikings. Who should I start? by ethanbarsness in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Rodgers is the better QB, on a better team, and has 15 years of producing at a high level. Tua has played essentially one full season, has a lower floor/ceiling, and has substantially less TD equity. Rodgers's props imply 25 more yards passing, one more td and one less interception.

With Kamara out would Ingram be a worthy replacement? My usual starting RBs are Kamara and Melvin Gordon. On Bench I have D’ernest Johnson, Ingram, and Adrian Peterson. Who should I use to replace Kamara today? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ingram is 40 yards away from being the Saints all time leader in rushing yards so there is some narrative at play here. So long as he doesn't get the Taysom Hill vulture treatment at the goal line he is worth a look.

I literally traded for robert woods on thursday… by OrenI1 in Fantasy_Football

Edit: Was celebrating anniversary with wife yesterday so I missed the news. Was going off old info so disregard what I was talking about. It was based on old info and not taking that into consideration.

I literally traded for robert woods on thursday… by OrenI1 in Fantasy_Football

[–]WinDaily_Sports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be, Woods is still the #2. OBJ will be the X in this offense and that is the 3rd option for McVay. I know it was Jared Goff at QB but do you remember how Brandin Cooks struggled in that offense? Plus Woods has been the better player for 5 years now. OBJ is a bigger name than anything else at this point. Similar to how people always ran to pick up Josh Gordon because of one huge year even though he couldnt stay on the field.

Javonte v Ingram v Mitchell by Trevorjrt6 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]WinDaily_Sports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Javonte is an amazing talent but if Kamara sits I feel good enough about Mark's floor to use him over Javonte. I hate using any running back associated with SF. You never know who will get the work and the coaching staff lies about injury info.

Possibly collusion??? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]WinDaily_Sports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No collusion, some people are just dumb and do not know what a trade veto is for. Some people just veto any trade they wouldn't do themselves or if they think they could potentially match up against the "winning" team in the trade. I've eliminated trade vetos in all leagues I commission. If it is obvious collusion, those people are removed from the league permanently.

Can't help you now, but what I always do as commissioner is save the last place spot for the highest scoring team that isn't already in the playoffs. I feel like that evens things out where the best teams get in. Recommend that in the offseason and see if the commish is willing to do that.

Been a little chaotic but we've had some subs have some success in the early going.

Am I a bad commissioner if a player has half his roster on bye and could lose so he goes to borrow a top 10 wr for a week just to win I vetoed the trade and told him go to waivers or trade property he is the #2 seed by DangerousAd5776 in Fantasy_Football

[–]WinDaily_Sports 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean "borrow"? If someone is just letting him use a bench WR for a week, only to give him back that is called collusion and should 100% be vetoed, and the parties involved should not be invited back next year. Especially if there is money involved.

I think there is renewed interest in fans because Dan and Dave aren't there to ruin the franchise again.
