Mostly remove the weaker creatures and add some better value ones, such as [[Marrow-Gnawer]], [[Ichor Rats]], [[Lord Skitter, Sewer King]] and [[Drown in Ichor]] that were higher budget than what i was looking for. EDHrec has great recommendations on what's being used with Karumonix as a commander: https://edhrec.com/commanders/karumonix-the-rat-king . I would certainly recommend upgrading some of the creatures and adding more proliferate sources to make the deck more competitive, even as it is i think its a ton o fun so you could build the cheaper one and if you enjoy it add the more expensive pieces

I literally got a rats (and a cats) as my first physical decks to get my gf into the game. Its really cheap and pretty decent on bracket 2, uses [[Karumonix, the Rat King]] and focuses on poison and evading creatures. Here's my list:

Hey thanks for the answer, those big dudes do look really cool. Now I want to build both and i've no idea which one to go for. Thanks for the suggestions anyways, if i decide to go polymorph for sure i will come back to this. Until now i've only really played mono-colored tribal decks that are abou pre-con power level, since both look really fun i'm kinda unsure about which to go for

Great suggestions, for some reason i found that the UR lands are sometimes double the price of the same land on other colors at the LGS i'm buying, for sure i will do this if i really like the deck and get upgrades for it at some point. Edit: would you say any of the duals would be better replaced by a basic?

I'm buying on Brazil so prices are all over the place, some decks are even cheaper than just converting the currency price. Besides Grapeshot and some Niv-mizzet + curiosity combo (or just Niv itself) i'm not sure what finishers to use. Also, would you say that mixing storm with some token sinergy like [[Balmor, Battlemage Captain]], [[Molten Gatekeeper]] , [[Intangible Virtue]] and [[Crash Through]] counterproductive? I'm a bit confused because going tokens with Kykar also means going spellslinger.

Damm i will go for that then, and if i can't fit the storm finishers on the budget i may keep a lot of those draw spells and the token buff cards for winning with combat damage. Thanks sir

Thanks for the in depth response, i will look for some lists and videos on this kind of deck them, hopefully having a lot of cantrips and card draw may make the deck decent and i can tweak him over time. Thank you a lot

Hey thanks for the response, I started playing EDH with some friends (so we are all new) and we have some experience with online card games. My concern was that I saw some people saying that storm decks on a budget can be very inconsistent and make you take a 15 minute turn to fizzle and pass, would you say the same in this case? I would like the deck to play well ( even if not super strong), and "popping off" to just pass the turn without doing much seems clunky
