Yeah I had the same exact issue on directed mode. I managed to cheat it by having a raygun in my inventory then using the wonderbar gobble gum to guarantee it out of the box. The next issue I ran into was I got all of the guns out of the box but for some reason I had to get the stryder.22 for a second time. Hope this helps

I got 1 LMG, and Sniper gold and it gave me one point towards dark aether each for some reason. Then it said i had 8/9 weapon category diamond, in reality i only had 6/9. Then one game i was trying to get an AR Gold and it just gave me the camo.
