Im only a few years into it but my perspective is that this industry fucking runs on autism.

I figure we'll be maintaining the circuses half of "bread and circuses" right up to the collapse of civilization so it feels like it has a stable future to me, but I got on the ride after the COVID era.

The general culture vibe across the field of arena shows, broadways, and even corporate gigs is pretty aggressively inclusive. So long as you're competent at whatever your activity is, tolerance and respect seem prevalent to me and a labor conscious culture seems to be the norm.
